The hotel is close to the beach, there are several shops around, as well as a shopping center close-by. The room was clean and had all the amenities. The staff was helpful, although we didn’t speak Portuguese and they didn’t speak English, we somehow got along.

the safe wasn’t working. I had to check 3 rooms before i found a functioning safe. it took me 45 minutes to sort this out with reception which is an inconvenience, as I had to go back and forth through the hotel to sort this issue out.

Location was great. one block from the beach. Garage had valet parking.

The staff is friendly and quick when called. The location is near the beach.

1. There is no parking place for every guest and it was not clear when I booked. My car “slept” in the street. 2. The location is in a very busy avenue, and there is no safe way to cross this avenue to go to the beach. There is no crosswalking near the hotel. Very, very, very dangerous for anyone, specially when you have kids, or have mobility problems/difficulties. 3. In the breakfast of day 1, all the tables were dirty, no one was collecting the dirty plates and cups. My wife cleaned a table for our breakfast. It seems the hotel was not prepared for the Holliday. In the other days the service was better. However, there is very few variety of fruits, and we had the same menu for all days. And another detail, the food was not identified: “coffee”, “milk”, “orange or pineapple juice” (the only way to identify the juice is tasting it). 4. Since the day we arrived, what seemed to be some telephone and internet wiring had been down from the pole, closing off the access to the pedestrian ramp. Thus, we had to compete with the cars and access the entrance via the automobile ramp. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, and the situation had not been resolved. 5. When we arrived there was no information in the reception about the breakfast time and duration, even about the Wi-Fi login and password. During the entire time of service, the receptionist must have answered the phone about 5 times from other guests asking about parking space (a big problem for the hotel and for the guests). 6. The artwork on the headboard of the bed, despite being well attached to the wall, I thought it is very dangerous because it is made of metal frame and rods. If it falls off the wall with someone sleeping under it, it can cause serious damage. (Find in attachment a picture of my son sleeping under this structure, when I identified the risk).
