It was a treat to stay here, in a room overlooking the vineyards and beyond. The view from our room and balcony was incredible, as was the view from the restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean, I think it had been renovated quite recently. You really need a car to get here but the hotel kindly picked us up and dropped us at the local bus stop in the village. Breakfast was included and it was fine.

The restaurant served nice food but numerous items from the extensive menu were not available. The swimming pool is stunning but it needed cleaning.

7 Generations is located in the countryside west of Ruse on a working winery. We stayed 2 nights in a corner room with terrace on the 2nd floor. This room is the most spacious and wonderful room we have every experienced. The huge room opened to a covered deck about 40 ft long overlooking the Danube, vineyards, and idyllic countryside to the west. We booked a wine tasting at the winery with our traveling friends and we dined both nights in the restaurant porch where we received excellent service and fine local wine to complement our dinners. Since 7 Generations is located out in the country, you must arrive by private or hired car and plan to dine there. This was our plan. We had arranged for Tours By Locals each day to visit the Stone Monastery, Velleca Ternova, and other local wineries. We enjoyed sitting on the large porch late each night enjoying the sounds like birds and even coyote! It is a magical place. It is a great value and everyone is given a book written by the owner/founder which is a fascinating tale of rags to riches.

Breakfast started 7:30 and coffee was not available until then. Breakfast was very basic. Bread, cheese, tomato, cucumber, meat. Eggs were available on one day. Associated with 7 Generations is motel accomodations which attract families with children. During dinner, some children would run around and be loud but this is what children do. We dined at 8pm so most families were done soon after we arrived.

Location, facilities, views, food and drink, staff.

Our room wasn’t made up two days running (until we pointed this out for the second time to the staff). There was no “Do not disturb/make up the room” sign to hang on the room door handle. The jacuzzi was not working. It was necessary to request use of the saunas and steam room in advance of use. There was no shade on the room balcony and our request for a parasol (there were several unused by the swimming pool) was refused. The choice of breakfast food and drink was a little disappointing.

The location was stunning the room was large and comfortable with a view to the Danube . The Evening meal with wine was very good .

I booked the hotel because it had a pool which is an infinity pool but it was shut. I was told I could use the spa for free however it had been a long dive on a hot day and a steam room and sauna was not very appealing The evening meal was good so I had high expectations for breakfast but it was very poor with not much choice fly covers would have been good a very disappointing breakfast

For those who need rest and quiet, as was our case, the recommendation is to go during the week. The rooms are large, the beds are generous and the mattresses are of quality; you can definitely have a restful sleep - and if I write this, I should mention that I am a person who has difficulty falling asleep. Large, ventilated bathroom, very generous shower area. Lunch, dinner - whatever you want, they obviously have their own kitchen, and what we ate was delicious. From salads (especially the one with several kinds of cheeses and walnuts, sprinkled with a little pomegranate sauce or a little balsamic vinegar), to fish, or pizza. I can't leave out the quality of the wine! I can personally recommend the Merlot red wine, this being my favourite, but for the delicious fish, you can choose from a special range from white to deep pink. 100% natural wine, obtained from the grapes of they own vineyard, and processed in the distillery located across the the hotel, which I recommend you to visit; it's really worth it. They also produce a very good natural grape juice! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the hotel and the vineyard where it is located, and I can say that they have left a beautiful mark on the place. People of character, a quality place, where you could come back.

The only small minus - only during the week, not on the weekend, was the breakfast - but this aspect depends on taste, habits...

Excellent location, between the hills, no other locations around, just nature. Lots of peace and relaxation. Spacious room, very comfortable beds. Big and clean pool. Good breakfast, not very varied. The restaurant has good dishes, with slightly higher prices than in other areas.

Even though the temperature was high, the water in the pool was cold. If it had been heated, everything would have been excellent.

The location is amazing with amazing sunsets.The room was spacious, clean and comfortable . The staff ate very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the tour and tasting at the winery

Everything!!! The penthouse offers an amazing 360 view of the vineyards and the Danube river! The food is tasty, the wine is really really good! The spa was nice and just to ourselves. The bed and the pillows are soft and comfortable. The entire place gives you a feeling of freedom and nature! But the most incredible thing is the genuine hospitality of the staff! From the receptionist to the restaurant staff, they were all superb in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Just an example - I asked for an empty cup for the room and the lady showed me the entire variety of cups in the kitchen to choose from. What do you call that?

The view overlooking the vineyard and Danube River was amazing. Breakfast was adequate though on the last day there were no hot entrees. Dinner in the restaurant was outstanding and had a beautiful view of the sunset. Our waiter was wonderful and made great and honest entree recommendations. The tour of the winery was very enjoyable, as was learning from the winemaker.

Internet could be improved.

Seven Generations Winery Hotel is a true gem. Location is beautiful with 360 degrees of rolling hills and vineyards. Nice distance view of the Danube. Great sunset views. Rooms are large and comfortable. We dined at the hotel restaurant both nights of our stay and enjoyed the meals and service.

Breakfast was sufficient but we would have enjoyed a broader range of hot breakfast options.
