Good location right in centre Lots of restaurants outside, which are far better than hotels restaurant which I found poor! And had upset stomach all night after! Did not have the breakfast I paid for due to night before poor food… Suite is decent and good underground parking behind hotel Friendly staff.

Restaurant not great at all Can be noisy from outside especially at weekends because right in town centre and lots of people hang round the square right outside hotel, pics below of square and food from hotel restaurant that looked good…but..

Hotel Dunav has perfect, central location. Large, clean room with comfortable beds, good quality bath towels. The whole staff is polite and helpful. I loved the fact that the breakfast restaurant has an outdoor area facing the city garden and I was able to enjoy my morning coffee there.

Should have better breakfast variety (repetitive for people staying more than two days at the hotel). The carpet in the hallways looks outdated.

An excellent hotel at the heart of the city with helpful staff, who were friendly towards both us and our fur companion. Clean and spacious rooms, well equipped with coffee maker, mini bar and hygienic amenities. There’s underground parking, which is very convenient. Most points of interest are within walkable distance - attractions, restaurants and nice park.

The restaurant in the hotel, unlike the hotel itself, refused to let us in with the dog, despite the spacious garden and 0 other guests at the time. Our dog is friendly and chill. Everybody loved her outside this restaurant.

The customer service at the Dunav is exceptional! All the staff are extremely helpful ........everyone on reception and the porter. We want to say a huge thank in particular to the manager who helped us so much. He always took the time to answer questions and meet our needs even though he was so busy. Thank you! We would recommend the new year's eve party to everyone - it was a brilliant evening with delicious food and wonderful entertainment,

Hotel's location is excellent. A minute walk to everything. Nice view from the balcony...food was also delicious. Rooms can be improved (AC doesnt work properly) but still quite comfortable.

Some staff at reception were indifferent almost rude. Not all though, overall staff were helpfull, but one experience with this lady was enough to ruin a morning.

The staff are super lovely, the location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast may be a little surprising to the first time traveller to Bulgaria but it is substantial and varied. You can sit outside and view the square with coffee and just chill. The restaurant food is very good too if you don't want to go out for a stroll, but it's hard not to with so much going on around you. Lovely for the solo traveller and for families.

That I only had one night there this stay. Maybe next time.

We always feel so welcome at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the manager is fantastic. The breakfast is wonderful and the room very big. Perfect location for exploring Ruse on foot.

The only thing is the double bed! You can feel every time that your partner moves in the bed. It's probably better to have 2 single beds for a good night's sleep 😴!

The place was fantastic very clean. The staff was marvelous, and I especially loved the complimentary breakfast. It's an excellent stop for a traveler on the road and I highly recommend.

The location is a little bit difficult to find gPS has a tough time navigating around the area but it is an excellent location you got to know how to get to it.

Choice of pillows is limited, all were similar and not too comfy. Air-conditioning was only working on heating, had to keep windows open to cool down the room. Cleaning machines outside the hotel start before 08.00 waking you up... Not hotel issue, but do keep in mind when selecting frontal facing rooms

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was in the centre of the city and it meant you were close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was delicious with a buffet of cereals, pastries, breads, cheeses, meats and cooked food. Coffee, tea and juices were also available, you could have as much as you could eat or drink. There was also a restaurant in the hotel for lunch and dinner and this was spotless and the food was delicious. There is a laundry service in the hotel which was amazing as your laundry was done and returned within a couple of hours and it was very reasonably priced. The rooms were spotless.

This is hard to answer as the staff were ready to assist in any area you needed. Staff are multilingual so being English was never a problem as questions asked were always answered in English. There was nothing we didn't like.
