Excellent location, lots of parking space. Very thoughtfully designed building with magnificent views towards the city. Spacious rooms with extra large and comfortable bed. Furnishing and equipment are new and clean. Bathroom is excellent also. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of delicious offerings. The restaurant is excellent - both food and service. It has wonderful green terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff.

While the inside is excellent, the outside space around the property needs more care and attention. For example: sidewalks, and floorings are a bit weary and need to be renovated to be in sync with the interiors. Facade enclosure needs a refresh either.

Location of the hotel is very close the city center. Hotel has a parking area as well. It also has some markets around which you can get snacks or drinks. Staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice and one of the best I have ever been in the city so far. Breakfast buffet is above average when compared with other hotels in Shumen and more than enough.

The hotel covered most of my expectations. Only remark I can add will be for sheets, which are clean but some were old and had some spots. I travel a lot so it didn't bother me a lot but can bother some visitors.

Very stylish and comfortable. Great location, very near the mosque. Excellent restaurant. Helpful and polite staff. We stayed here once before, 21 years ago(!), if we come to Shumen again we’ll of course stay at the Grand.

Breakfast a bit sub-par given the lavish surroundings- some of it was stale (easily avoided) and the coffee machines need attention: press the button and the chances of getting coffee are about one in three.

Everything you would expect from a hotel at a great price. Executive room with a King size bed. Tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and free fruit all provided. Bath robes and slippers also provided. No cleanliness issues. Nice restaurant adjacent. Adequate breakfast. Lots of car parking spaces.

The hotel has a very imposing and slightly depressing appearance on first arrival. Looks like a typical 1970s Soviet era building - don't let it distract you it has been fully refurbished. The guy running the breakfast service was a little abrupt.

Good breakfast, comfortable bed, TV with several English channels. Parking was available although as there was a function on when I arrived this was a little limited, but fine later on. Hotel well-located for main town and some historical sites.

Hotel a little dated in appearance from the outside but fine inside.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms clean and very nice and the people from the hotel are extremely nice and friendly, we came in the early morning at the day of our check in and the woman at the receptiom let us come earlier into our room. 100% recommended for stays in Shumen.

Refurbished hotel, stylish design, very comfortable and big beds. Room is big enough with a nice view over the hills of Shumen. Very close to the famous biggest mosque of Bulgaria. Nice restaurant terrace also.

Breakfast might be improved. Although apparently various food, not very tasty.

Very clean for this price range! Everyone at the reception and in the restaurant in the lobby were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very rich and prepared on the spot (choose one of 4 options for breakfast). Panorama restaurant on 7th floor was very good with excellent menu. Only minus is that it's open from 6pm. Overall very nice experience!

Hotel is in very goos location. Easy to arrive, there is a free parking spot. Staff were helpful.

Room was not clean enough, in the bathroom flor there was a woman hair. Probably it was comes from previous guest which is used the room.

We could check in very late with no problem. The room looked good. We had slippers and robes. The free water bottle was nice. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh.

The shower water was just a bit warm, didn’t get to the point where it was hot. It could have been cleaner. There was some hair in the bed and on the floor.
