We like the location and the novelty of staying in a tree house right on the ocean - pretty special. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The beds were super comfortable and the linen smelt lovely - it was quiet location and clean. The food in the restaurant was yum, as were the cocktails, fruit shakes and iced lattes - we had everything we needed . We had a kettle and fridge in our room and had brought coffee with us.

The resort is a little run down however they look like they are working hard to fix it up and have staff working hard every day to keep the resort clean and tidy. The pool cleaner in particularly keeps the pool spotless. However when compared to other accomodation on the island it is really of a very good standard - Koh Rong as a whole is like Bali 30 years ago - pretty basic. The paths into the village could be better, particularly to Long Set Beach as you need to climb over rocks on high tide and I like to walk everywhere so making this more accessible would be good.

It is a very comfortable and quiet existence, maybe partially because it was low season. I like to do freediving (think like advanced snorkeling) which is entirely doable on the resort! There are several large rocks / boulders / formations accessible from the beach, if, IF, the visibility is good. If the visibility is really poor once you are off the immediate beach then it is not so entertaining. Also entering the deeper part of the beach you have to be aware of sea urchins (black spikey balls). While they normally only attach to rocks it is possible they might be on the sea bed as well so be mindful of your hands, legs and feet where you put 'em. Small but nice beach at the Tree house resort, massively more beach accessible by a 2 minute walk for those appreciate that. The nearby village is a slow 10-15 minute walk away, which is nice so there are no large foot traffic of noisy drunk people passing through resort. In village you can find most of the items you'd possibly need. Personal recommendation: get an (yellow taped) EPS / styrofoam insulated ice box, buy some ice and have access to cool beverages in your own room.

Sometimes Sea Doo's (large jetski's) pass way to close for comfort when you are snorkeling the coral reef. The bungalow had initially a sand issue. When I had absolutely sand free feet I kept noticing / feeling sand appearing on the floor. The floor board cracks was filled to the brim with fine sand so every step brought new sand into the room which annoyed me greatly (pet peeve of mine possibly, others may think it is fine). I could have called it to attention to management but I chose to solve it myself.

The beach which was directly below our porch....amazing!!! The best accommodation around the island in my opinion . Loved that there was a mosquito net over the bed and mosquito s.oke rings were provided. We would have died without those. Was was hot for shower, and the larger private porch was the best. Perfect path for walking into the village to eat or shop, and still quiet at night

The seams of the floors and walls weren't totally sealed, so make sure to have lots of mosquito protection.

Everything was perfect, the bed is super comfy, linen nice. Shower is warm and with good water pressure. AC works well, there are mosquito nets on the beds. WiFi is sufficient as for the island, in our experience it worked best at night (strongest speed). The location was perfect. It’s close to many bars and restaurants, and the pier. It has a beautiful private beach. Staff is super friendly and most helpful, they accommodated every our need and more! They have a restaurant, and scooter rental on site. They picked us up and dropped us off on the pier.

Location is amazing, tropical island you see on postcard. The tree houses are in very quiet part far enough from noisy parties to relax but 10m walk from them if someone wish to join them or go for a boat trip, fish or rent jet ski, scooter. There is a nice beach at resort and 10m walk away in the opposite direction of the village there is big Laguna with long white sand beach. The house it self is good condition but not to modern so you may feel sometimes you are on deserted island, it just happen you got AC, running water and restaurant that servers amazing food. They are in good distance to eachother so I slept till noon sometimes without being disturbed once. Stuff vere amazing with good English and helpful with any questions, directions or requests.

We left Saturday morning, but I think weekends get bit more of party vibe as Friday there is party boat that leaves the pier and when it comes back play laud music, but that was only maybe 1h each time to be not peaceful

We stumbled upon these bungalows while on a walk on the beach and they looked like a dream. Some availability happened to pop up and while it was outside of our budget, we decided to splurge and it was such a treat and made our trip even more memorable! The bungalows were stunning, amazing views, and the beach was quiet and well kept - it almost felt like a private oasis at the edge of everything near Koh Touch. Walkable to everything, beautiful beach to snorkel at (with free snorkel gear available), and always comfortable beach seating available. The property had tons of chickens running around, beautiful birds, monkeys and lizards. The resort also had a lovely pool and had some amazing live music/dancing on one of our nights. All in all, it was a great vibe!

The food was more expensive than elsewhere on the island, and didn’t quite meet our expectations. Honestly that was the downside, but everything else was fantastic.

We had a family room high up right overlooking the sea. It had to be the room with the best view! It was the most amazing room we have ever stayed in out of all our travels in Asia. The location was perfect for us. Close to the small village and some different places to eat but far enough out to be away from any crowds. The staff were always helpful and keen to please. They helped us with our arrival, our trips, and our ongoing journey to Koh Rong Samloen which was very helpful as my daughter was recovering from a knee op and couldn't walk any long distances.

The pool was green and clearly not in use.

isolated properties so free from any noise disturbances, and elevated position of bungalow added to the privacy and gave good views, Very nice recently updgraded swimming pool.

Attention to detail. No room instructions. There were 2 cups and a kettle and fresh water on arrival, but I confirmed with the reception that they do not provide any sachets for making a hot drink. (the manager did offer a coffee sachet from his own supply, why should he have to do this though?) There was a mosquito deterrent coil in the room, presumably to be used on the external upper balcony, however there was no means of lighting it, we are non-smokers. The aircon while adequate, was directing the flow to to middle of the room, but we got away with moving the bed into the room, not landing on either of the damaged floorboards where there was potential for it to sink into the floor.

The location is ideal, about a 5 minute walk from the village and long set beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very big and it was nice to have a little porch area to sit out on. The food is a bit pricier here than in the village but it is very delicious.

We weren’t told about the monkeys so if you have snacks/food make sure you keep it inside as one jumped onto our porch to steal some cookies whilst we were sat out. We had to dash into the bungalow as the rest of the family were heading for us. As they are wooden cabins there are plenty of cracks that bugs can get in, even with the mosquito net and repellent we were bit a lot

Loved the idea of staying in a tree house. Unfortunately due to the amount of rain, the tree house did leak a little bit and the balcony had no covering so after 2 nights we moved to one of the beach bungalows. The bungalow was stunning. A covered balcony meant we could sit out whilst it was raining. Extremely close to the beach which was superb. Also close to the bar and restaurant area. Staff were wonderful, special thanks to Zach for all your help. Also thanks to all of you for your advice and being able to move us when the tree house didn't quite suite our needs.

Unfortunately the tree house did leak when it rained and the balcony didn't provide any shelter so couldn't sit out on the balcony when it was raining which was quite often at the time we went. I do feel that these tree houses are probably a huge selling point for them and a bit of refurbishment of these might be a good idea.
