The location of the property was great. It was easy to get to from pier. The staff were very friendly.

The bed was hard as a rock and not very comfortable. The toilet really smelled in our room which made the whole room smell. The room set up was a little weird. Would be better if they had a table to sit around in the common area. The tours were very expensive. We had to look at other hotels for a day trip. The hotel pool was great but the tiles were falling off.

Great location right on the beach. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is only a short walk from where you get off the boat and a staff member will greet you and bring your luggage to the hotel. We extended our stay because the location was so nice. Mad monkey hostel is next door which was a positive for us because we liked the music and could go there in the evening but you can hear their music from 9am to midnight some may not like that

The staff were amazing, so helpful when booking transport and just genuinely kind and happy to help. They even gave us a fruit plate at the end of our stay as we had been there for 10 nights. We ended up getting a free upgrade as they were doing construction where our room was which was just amazing. The pool was always clean and had the most incredible view of the beach. The breakfast was also really good. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and will be back in the future! Thank you to all the staff at Scarlet sails you are all amazing!!!

Well, where do I start ! 3 months I traveled vietnam , Laos and Cambodia, I thought this island be nice for 5 nights..Wifi perfect , room on second floor had everything I'd expect , the breakfast with booking was a buffet and delicious ! The beach was cleaned up by staff every morning for the guests , the pool was actually blue unlike others I had stayed at, green was the normal colour ! The location perfect, 5 min walk from where ferry drops you of ..There is a small village so you can buy beer and food cheaper then hotel , as all hotels are more ! And the staff, smiliy , they cleaned room everyday , I felt so comfortable there , and when I left I felt that I didn't want to go..I think the price is fair , some think it's to high but I think it's fair, the aircon was brilliant to , so I would say go there , I pd $50 new zealand a night with buffet breakfast ..I say go to this place..I stayed above reception on second floor, they have other accommodation onsite also so not sure how good they are! ( motorcycle hire next door for $10 us from dawn to dusk!)

One small small thing , breakfast was delicious overall honestly, but if the staff could keep food warm it be perfect, but mostly it was delicious and staff so nice there!

We spent 2 nights at Scarlet Sails Villa from April 26–28 on Koh Rong Island and truly enjoyed the serene surroundings—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the island vibe. The team on-site were exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. That said, we recommend the management to improve the Lost and Found policy for clearer procedures and prompt follow-up with guests regarding any missing items. All in all, it was a pleasant and memorable stay, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and kind hospitality.

We stayed at Scarlet Sails Villa for 2 nights from April 26–28 on Koh Rong Island. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing island escape. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. However, we suggest that management reinforce the Lost and Found policy for better clarity and guest assurance, and ensure timely communication when guests report lost items. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The bungalows were clean and cosy- air con worked well, the pool was clean and they had great activities. The staff at reception were attentive and very welcoming!! The restaurant was great, good options on menu and clean! Most importantly the staff Bun lay FB Manager and waitresses Srey Nich Srey Nai and Makara made my stay even better, lovely staff highly recommend!! Will definitely be back , thank you !!!

Gym

The property was located directly on the beach with a lovely pool & included breakfast! The rooms were spacious & all the staff were friendly and happy to help with any concerns!

The stay was great, although we did have about 5 cockroaches in the room! We did however inform the reception who came in and removed them! The wifi did not reach to the room all the time, however again the staff were accommodating and offered to move rooms due to this!

Bungalow 011 was excellent - right by the sea, next to the restaurant. It was spacious, very clean, had toiletries, towels and beach towels, kettle, TV, hairdryer and air con. It was a really great location, The beach was superb. Reception and restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful.

The music of the restaurant was on repeat all day everyday and it was the same sad love songs. I would have liked more happy music to sit and listen to whilst drinking by the sea. I did mention this a few times to the restaurant employees.

The location was perfect and the pool was absolutely lovely! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downsides were the persistent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drain, which lingered throughout our stay, and the gym—it wasn’t really usable, with only a few pieces of equipment that weren’t very practical. Aside from those issues, we had a great time and really appreciated the overall experience.
