the property itself was beautiful. We had the rooms overlooking the pool so it was perfect. the room wasn’t big but the high ceiling and sliding glass doors and windows made it feel very spacious.

The road the property is on is bumpy as it is not yet paved. There seem to be a lot of small boutique hotels on this road so I imagine it will be paved soon. the only gripe I have is about the bathroom. The sink you have to push down to turn on the water but the pressure is so high that I usually get water all over my clothes. And it takes about 20 to 30 seconds before it shuts itself off. A faucet that you can control the water would be much better. Also, I couldn’t get hot water in the shower so my shower had to be quick.

The staff at Sandy Residence are nice! They're helpful with our early check-in and the checkout was also very quick. The pool was also clean!

One of rooms' lock knob was not working, so we had to use the key on the inside, which was a little inconvenience. No big deal 👍

Two things were lacking was I stayed there for 2 nights and they only provided bottles of water for 1 night which was not quite right compare to other hotel or resort that provide water base on numbers of staying and other thing was the AC is cool enough.

The hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. The pool looked lovely, the buildings looked posh and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I had good night sleeps despite the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms because they had good curtains. They also had a fridge and a good working shower.

Despite the property and rooms being aesthetically beautiful, and the public toilet/shower being nice. This is probably the only thing good about the hotel. The staff were pleasured but really did not have good English and felt pretty non existent during the stay. The hotel felt like a ghost town. at one point brown water started coming out of our bathroom tap but this did get resolved quickly when I raised it with them. The pool, although lovely, again felt drab. There were only four sun beds for the entire property and the were extremely uncomfortable wooden ones that were fixed in place with no mattress. There was also no music or bar service, so it felt quite eerie. After 20 minutes of sitting round our own pool, we moved over to the pool at the hotel next door called Mr Popa Pino’s Bungalows or something like that were they had loads of comfy sun beds, a pool bar service where they came to take your order, nice music at a good decibel, a restaurant and an overall lovely relaxing vibe. The pool was also warm so didn’t shock you to your core when you got in it.
