….Any tale of my week would be severely incomplete, without highlighting the Nomad Hotel staff. Ann, who smiled and waved and welcomed me back everyday from work and asked "How was your day?" with the genuine interest of a Mom picking up and dropping off her eager kid from kindergarten. May, the well-deserved "staff-of-the-month" who helped me look for places to live in the Filipino marketplaces and introduced me to the Aurora sighting group, so I could see my first Northern Lights here. Laila, the cleaning lady, who not only did her job best, but who told me of the best places to get groceries and African ingredients. To these women, who were a temporary family for me, I give my deepest gratitude. Drying body wash. Unmoisturizing moisturizer. The hair dryer fell off. From the wall. Dully lit rooms.

The staff was great. I hope that they are entirely paid by Nomad as I found alot of other companies are exploiting both tax payers and the rate payers. It is unethical to get people from other countries only to exploit them. Beds were very comfortable. Temperature was easily maintained.

Some of the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling, the sinks showed signs of rust through the enamel. A few outlets were loose and would not hold the plugs in the wall not allowing the coffee maker to work or cell phones to charge

Always such a pleasure to stay at the Nomad! Staff are friendly, professional, and quick to help. Rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable. We love having access to the gym and personal laundry. The Keg is perfect for dinner, and the café was perfect for a quick bite and coffee. We always feel safe and well looked after. Highly recommend!

Our stay was impeccable, wouldn't change a thing.

The free wifi was great, the bed and overall room were great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel and the parking is great. It is nice that there are 2 restaurants in the hotel to choose from.

The breakfast was okay, one day the bun on the sandwich was too hard to eat in places. The shower curtain in the bathtub is placed a little too close inside the tub so when you shower you have no option but to be touching it.

This is where Iv been staying while trying to get back on my feet if it wasn’t for the time these people gave me and patience they had I would’ve been on the streets in -30. I’ve been here for 10 days with my two year-old son These men/woman at the nomad are paitent kind and thoughtful they 110% deserve higher pay!!

No pool

Location was good for us. The room was quiet with a nice enough view, good AC and comfortable with no outside noise or noisy people in the hall ways . Nice not to hear noise from other rooms. also liked the fast elevator

Parking slightly out of the way but overall okay.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean with a daily breakfast. The location was great! It was just a short walk to pubs, the casino and the mall.

The internet on computer in the lobby was very slow. We lost power in our room twice during our stay.

The staff at the front desk were great - welcoming, accommodating, and genuine!

We were a little surprised with a “to go” breakfast but it was good, and the staff was very pleasant with providing available options, and we understand that it is more cost-effective.

Parking was great. But I have to say it is the quietest hotel I have stayed at in all of Fort McMurray. It is also the first hotel that has not stuck me on a first floor because of my pet. I will always return to this hotel.

I didn’t like that I put a $20 bill into the pop machine on the sixth floor to get a pop for $3.75 and was only given $2.50 back in change and when I went and talk to lady at the desk she told me I had to phone the number on the machine and I did and got no where so Piaf $17.50 for a bottle of pop
