The Lobstick was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Our room was of good size and clean, and housekeeping were consistent every morning, and thorough from what I saw passing them in the halls. Would definitely stay again.

The attached restaurant, Seasons, was closed. However, the Chateau Jasper next door, the Lobstick's sister hotel, had an amazing restaurant and there are plenty of restaurants in the area and within walking distance that more than made up for it. The pool was a bit small, but the outdoor hot tub was bigger than most other outdoor hot tubs.

Fantastic location, friendly staff and overall very pleasant stay. I'm not going to lie and say it has all the facilities of a 5 star hotel but you know that when you book it. For our stay in Jasper this was perfect, would definitely stay there again and would happily recommend to family and friends.

Only slight issue was with the laundry. This isn't policed. We needed to wash our kit on our journey across Canada. One lady decided to leave her stuff in the drier for 8hrs which stopped others using the facility. The staff didn't want to be involved and advised against moving her kit. Fortunately when we needed to use it the lady arrived so it wasn't much of a drama. But if you have a facility you should also take responsibility to manage situations like this, or at least have an area to move people's clothes too if they want to walk off for 8hrs. This is a very minor point and comes down to personal responsibility in my opinion.

The hotel feels dated, but all things considered, the room itself was quite pleasant and clean. It had a hot tub, swimming pool, etc.

The rooms we were given were half-basement, i.e., our room windows were on the ground of the outside (where the birds were walking by, facing the carpark). As a result, it was noisy with the cars. We agreed to keep to our rooms as the reception informed us that there were no other available rooms at that moment and we wanted to check-in earlier; this is just something for others to note in the future.

In a very convenient position to visit jasper town and jasper national park. The room was big enough and well equipped The staff was really helpful and nice to us during our stay. They also have a nice coffee bar inside the hotel and you can access a buffet or menu breakfast at their sister hotel nearby.

The moquette was a little bit old and stained, the smell in the corridors and room wasn’t very nice

It was clean, friendly and well located for us.

In general, the hotels we’ve stayed in are pricier than those I use in the US. Probably another general negative is outlets for charging. We did each have a plug and USB by the bed. After that, though we found enough go outlets, some didn’t work and some the plugs fell out of the outlet.

Loved the pool and hot tub, they were wonderful! The room was nice and very clean. very large room.

the front desk staff were, "functional" didn't go out of their way to be friendly, info provided seemed very canned and delivered with a feeling that it was "necessary to say" rather than being helpful. Too expensive for what it was.....

The room was extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Th location was ideal as it is a short drive or walk into Jasper town center. Staff were really friendly which made the check in process very easy.

Unfortunately there was two rooms close to ours with dogs that barked quite a lot on the last night of our stay. This was slightly annoying when trying to sleep. other than that there were no issues.

Great location, loved having a kitchenette to self cater. Hot tub and pool a bonus, although we were shattered from the journey so didn't use them in the end. Really friendly staff. Big, comfy beds. So very sorry to hear of the wildfires just a week after our visit.Sending best wishes to all the staff x

Slightly tired decor, but such good value it wasn't an issue. No Aircon, but there were fans.

the Suites were great for family with kid(s). the beds are in a bedroom, and then there is a full kitchen, sofa bed, and dining table that seats 6. we were able to put kiddo to bed and then enjoy a glass of wine while playing cards in the evenings. the pool is a good size and was very warm. there is a hot tub next to the pool that is mediocre BUT they have a fantastic outdoor hot tub open year round. the hotel is a little dated, but ALL hotels in Jasper are, so we were happy. this would have been a 10/10 IF they had a restaurant for breakfasts on site. that said, the hotel next door has a breakfast restaurant (closes at 11am so go early!) or there are a few other breakfast joints in town.

no restaurant on site - but the full kitchen in the suites does allow for you to make your own, if you like.

Got a wonderful surprise upgrade when we arrived...a room with a kitchenette. The kitchenette was much needed as the only food on site was starbucks. Loved the pool and hot tub after a long day. The room was a tad warm but the window opened and the room was supplied with 2 fans.

Disappointed there was no dining room on site, but understand as it was off season. No way to control the room temperature otyher than open a window to road/train noise.
