The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was nice and close to the location of the event we were there for. The restaurant has great food and massive portions. The pet fee was surprisingly small.

There were some other hotel guests that were rather loud each night during our stay. It seemed to be different people from different rooms and varying times from very loud music at 1 am to various people shouting at each other between midnight and 2 am, to what seemed to be a very loud argument between a couple, going on sporadically between 3 am and 6 am.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. I liked the breakfast as it made my life much easier.

The signage for the attached restaurant made the hotel look a bit shabby. Perhaps they could put up a new sign. Also, there was a group having a beer party outside at the picnic table one evening. They didn’t stay past 11 pm but their foul language was very unpleasant and they were very loud.

Older hotel with limited amenities but super friendly and helpful staff who seem genuinely glad to see you and who are knowledgeable about the area. Considering the age of the hotel, this place punches far above its weight. Lacombe itself is a lovely town with a gorgeous historic downtown and good restaurants. We came for a bit of cycling and to pick up some items and had a thoroughly good time.

They upgraded me to a suite!! Instead of putting in one of the CN workers, they gave me this fantastic suite with a jacuzzi!! So I had my spa experience this morning! I LOVE this hotel!! Good breakfast, excellent staff, clean rooms. I am a repeat customer and will definitely keep coming!!

I think there was a crank missing to open the bedroom window. But whatever...

We have stayed at this property before and that is why we chose to stay here again. Staff really positive and helpful. Just a very comfortable place to stay. Not fancy buy hey, if you have a good place that allows you to bring your pet and LOVES meeting your 16 year old special dog, THE BEST!!!

The bed was super comfy, was able to connect my switch to the tv and play while there. Got a couple muffins and fresh fruit in the morning. All around comfortable stay.

- it was a great stay but we did hear room service knocks happening around 8am? Possibly a wake up call for other guests, but it did spook us awake the first time.

Breakfast was good but minimal. Didn't see any waffles or pancake maker like some places have. The pillows were great. Had different comfort levels to choose from.

I found dust bunnies along the baseboard corners. The beds were too hard.

A nice variety offered at Bkfast. Some Gluten free bread or bagels would be a welcome addition as we are both Celiac.

The leather chair in our room was in very poor shape and needed replacing

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, because of COVID they didn't offer their standard breakfast but did provide bagged refreshments at the front desk. Forgot my toothbrush and they provided one. Bed was super comfortable with a variety of pillows, and linens appeared to be new. The microwave and fridge were very clean.

Because they were not serving their usual hot breakfast in their dining room the only cream/creamer available for the good Keurig style coffee in the room was the powdered kind. Was kindly offered some overly sweetened creamer by friendly front desk staff but really missed having the small containers of real milk/cream.
