We stayed here for a special family celebration. It was amazing. We had been given a room in the newly refurbished wing of the hotel. From the minute we arrived at the hotel, we were helped by super friendly staff, from the gateman to the valet, and the reception staff. We were shown to our room and were shown every courtesy. The room was newly refurbished and looked beautiful. We had an amazing view of Lake Louise from our room. The tea/coffee facilities were plentiful and the bathroom toiletries were plentiful and of great quality (as you would expect). We dined at the hotel and the service was outstanding. The food presentation was excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful, memorable stay and they hotel left a beautiful gift in our room to help us celebrate. Would definitely stay in a Fairmont Hotel again.

I have always dreamt of staying at this luxurious chateau with the most magnificent lake and mountain views. When I arrived, I was taken care of immediately at the door. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive. I knew I was in good hands! The hospitality and luxurious accommodation are top tier! I was spellbound by the pristine beauty of Lake Louise and Mount Victoria! I am so happy I adventured to the North, to the dynamic country, Canada, to see one of the most phenomenal places on Earth! Beautiful position on the lake. The staff were very courteous & helpful. Room was newly renovated with lounge etc, but no bath. Initially booked a King Mountain view room. On arrival, I was offered a King Lake Louise view room for $150 extra. I decided to take it up. However, in hindsight, I'm not sure it was good value, as the room was towards the end of the building overlooking the construction site.

Was checked in slightly late @ 4.20pm & there were a number of people like myself waiting around for their room to be ready. I know they try to check people in early if possible. But to have so many people waiting to check in after 4pm may be a service problem.

The lake view of the room was amazing. Very nice experience of Lake Louis.

I booked a seat at the lakeview lounge at least a month ahead and the manager assured me a good seat. When I came by, there was no window seat left. The waitress explained that they actually cannot reserve a window seat as the seat is on a first come first serve basis. I accepted this explanation until I saw an available window seat and asked if I could took that. She then said that seat was actually reserved for other people… this is really confusing and I feel really disappointed about it.

They pulled no stops for Christmas, and went above and beyond for the kids. CHRISTMAS day Brunch was incredible and very reasonably priced. The Christmas displays were nothing short of spectacular and the staff went above and beyond to look after you. The games and activities kept the whole family entertained. The pool was lovely to heat up and relax after a cold day doing the hikers code with the kids. So many dining options and things to do. A true magical getaway.

They didn't disclose that I could hire the skates for 24 hours rather than just 2, so we ended up paying a lot more than we needed to with repeated hiring, as well they never applied our in house discount until well into our second last day. Dining was also very expensive , considering that the elaborate Christmas Brunch and dinner were so reasonably priced, and kids were very cheap on the day.

The staff were so welcoming. We upgraded to a lake view room and I'm so happy we did, as it was absolutely out of this world. I mentioned when checking in that it was my birthday and they arranged for a bottle of prosecco to be sent to the room. The room was spacious, clean, modern and SO comfortable, with the most beautiful view. We ate at Alpine Social, which had the relaxed atmosphere we wanted. We did the sunrise canoe the next morning and both agree it was the best experience.

Views were excellent, and as offered with the room booking! Actual room size is very misleading in the photos however - much smaller. But comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great location and lots to explore.

Crowds, particularly when attempting to access eateries or just get a drink or snack at any of the bars, outdoor pop-ups, etc. Room service very overpriced for what is on offer. Food dry/cold/lukewarm at best. Shuttle service needs improvement re more regular service - had to hitch a ride on another bus to get back up to the Chateau as only Fairmont shuttle that turned up downtown after an extensive wait was heading off elsewhere.

The Fairmont Chateaux Lake Louise was a high point for us, with its fantastic location and grand nature, and accompanying price tag we expected a lot. Mostly it delivered, and the hotel upgraded our room as well but unfortunately it was under major renovations and the suite we were given was right in the midst of major works - the sound of drilling drove us out of this otherwise very beautiful suite.

Just the building works, we understand they’re necessary but the staff were quite dismissive about the disruption and have clearly been schooled to ensure it is only spoken of in a positive manner. For a once in a lifetime visit the future benefits were not a lot of comfort to us.

We stayed at the Fairmont to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From check-in the staff went out of their way to help us feel welcome and celebrate our anniversary. They helped us with restaurant reservations and treats in the room and every member of staff was so kind and thoughtful. We stayed in a fantastic room with a view of Lake Louse, the room was spacious and luxurious - and you could look down to decide when to get over to the lake and beat the crowds. Thank you! We'll 100% be back

Fantastic location and our server Evan in the Fairview bar was absolutely amazing, attentive and extremely helpful and made our experience 10/10!!!!

The guy on reception to lake view bar and restaurant was very abrupt and almost rude in how he spoke to us not only once while we waited to be seated for drinks, but also when we walked through the bar to exit from the patio and frogmarched us rudely back through the restaurant. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing
