You cannot beat the location of this place! It is located directly beside Dutch Lake, which has a great swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and all other water activities area with a beautiful beach area. The facilities have been clean every time my family and I have stayed here. I sleep very well on the beds and many of the suites have separate bedrooms and couches or futons that turn into beds for bigger families. Some suites have kitchenettes which is so handy for people that don’t want to spend a bunch of money eating out. Also, some suites have air conditioned units, so if you’re like me and like to be cool while you sleep, I recommend these. I’ve only ever met the one lady and man that I think may own or manage this place and they are always kind and helpful. My family are big coffee drinkers and they supplied us with enough for 7 people from Thursday until Monday which we truly appreciated. My family and I stayed here last year for a long weekend and we just stayed this year for August long and we’ve decided to make it a yearly family tradition as we enjoy this place so much. We drive 8 hours yearly now just to stay here and enjoy this cozy hotel on the lake! I recommend checking this place out if you enjoy a cozy, affordable spot right on a stunning lake!

The location is perfect, right on Dutch lake. They have their own little dock and motel is right beside the public sandy beach and bigger dock. We rented kayaks and went all the way around the lake. The lake is really warm and clean. The rooms were cozy and it was nice to have the kitchen. Grocery store and a few restaurants are also only a few minutes away. Short drive into Wells Grey park. About 45 mins from the Helmcken waterfall which was well worth the drive. Lots of smaller waterfalls and hikes closer.

This cabin was so cute ❤️ It was situated in the trees, and was so quiet! Overlooking a beautiful lake, majestic and wonderful 🙏❤️🙏We didn't see/ talk to staff in person, because of our late check in they ensured our room was unlocked and comfortably cool after a long drive🙏 Staff exceeded our expectations by ensuring our stay was perfect ❤️ The room was clean and smelled wonderful! Price was excellent 👌 Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

We love this spot!! We have been here many time over the last 7 years and my children look forward to it every year. So close to the beach, food truck and our room. We cook our meals in the room and enjoy the view and the lake every moment we are here. Terrence and Angela are so friendly and accommodating. They know our names and treat my children like family. We appreciate the warm welcome and catching up the owners every year. Home away from home

Super location with Lake view. Liked the atmosphaire. Everything was there and even more. Large comfi beds. Matress a bit squicky and soft like a hammock, but we never slept sooo good as here. We were greatful for the heating, as the temp. was 8 degrees and non stop raining. The Kitchen was well equipped with everyhting we needed, although dishes and cutlery. where thrown together.

A bit used up, needs some redoing. Baking oven was not working.

I love this rustic place right on the Dutch Lake shore. It's like going camping, without the problem of setting up a tent. We see and hear loons, an eagle is in it's perch on the island, and I can watch the people on their paddle boards and kayaks. Love it!

It's an old building but well maintained, and I hope it never gets torn down.

Being on the water and having a private balcony, made morning coffee that much better. Waking up to the mist on the water and paddle boarding through it was exhilarating We rented the family suite, which was small, but very cozy They rent kyacks, paddleboards and canoes on location There was a lone canadian goose that would follow us on the water and hang with us on the beach.... we named him Larry!!

Facilities are in need of an upgrade, bathroom, especially woke up very early both mornings to hear something scurrying in the walls, lost a lot of sleep ( had to remind myself it was not a city location, sort of remote, so this was expected)

Everything was perfect. Terrance was able to get us a room 1 night early and had us move to our family room the next day. It was ready for us to move in hours before check in time so we could just enjoy the beach and the weather. Location is ideal for a family stay as the public beach is right next door. We are always treated like our business matters and that we are welcome guests. My children were treated so well and watched over by the owners, Terrance and the two other lovely ladies working there. My daughter came looking for beach toys, which I decided not to bring this trip. Terrance was working by our room and asked what she was looking for. When I told him I didn't bring the sand toys he handed her a $10 bill and sent us to Fields to pick something up. She picked out buckets and shovels for her and her brother and came back to find Terrance to say thank you again. Both of our rooms were clean and organized and very comfy. This is our favorite spot to spend our holidays and love spending our family time here every summer. Thanks for a wonderful stay, so hard to drive away... always wishing for one more day.

Excellent, quiet location off the main highway with access to a pleasant beach and food truck. Very nice and comfortable accommodation with microwave and full refrigerator. Some units have outside sitting areas and bbqs. Friendly operators. Good place for a stopover or longer stay. Very pleasant facility and would stay there again.

The location is absolutely amazing and very relaxing. It’s right next to the public beach which is great for families.

People that smoke outside and it seeps through the rooms. We have kids with us and it just a downgrade to our stay. They should have a designated smoking area!
