The staff were incredible. Very friendly. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location and convenient to have two restaurants attached

No latch lock on the door for extra security and no laundry in the hotel. They ate also going through renovations so it's a bit of disarray. The breakfast from white spot was about a 2 out of 5.

Great rooms, very comfortable!

Limited breakfast hours - not suitable for those traveling long distances. Not possible to grab a few breakfast items if leaving early (and 6:30 am is definitely not that early if you are driving the Cassiar!).

People who work here help us always with a big smile, we really appreciate that.

I think the location. This hotel is next to a licor stores and some homeless sleep next to that place BUT We feel very safe, even at night.

The downtown vibe was nice, away from the strip with all the chain restaurants. The staff were friendly and even though the hotel is a little older in some sections they have kept it up and I found it all great. The Whitespot restaurant provided for predictable quality in food and beverages.

Large room to spread out equipment. Clean bathroom and lots of hot water. Super comfy bed. Hotel location perfect groceries and restaurants nearby. Great AC and needed sure I would stay here again.

No complaints. Would have been better to bring in my bike. However staff stored bike in a safe place I could access in the am to be on my way. Good value although relative to US market a tad pricey.

I like that they changed our room to a room that had working air conditioner

The restaurant service was the worst, and food was just slap together. I will stay at the hotel, but not eat at the restaurant.

Clean, and price was very good

The elliptical machine in the fitness room had no power, and the gears on the bike didn't work. Alerted staff at front desk and they were very interested and responsive.

Breakfast at WhiteSpot was better than anticipated

Luggage cart not able to be taken to doorway; would suggest a ramp; would also be helpful for managing suitcases with wheels, tho we managed o.k.

It is a basic hotel. I just needed a comfortable bed. The location was fine, right downtown. The room was a little old could use a reno. The door to my room was very, very hard to open.

The door to my room needed to be fairly forcibly pushed open. I am not certain a smaller person could have opened it. Might be a fire hazard.

The best thing about this Days Inn is that it is attached to a White Spot restaurant. For many people born and raised in Vancouver this is a special bonus! The complimentary breakfast provided by White Spot was excellent. It is also worth mentioning that the air conditioning was great. My stay was on a day when the area was experiencing temperatures in the mid 30s C (about 90 F for non metric readers) but my room was a refreshing 16 C (60 F) when I arrived.

My only criticism is that the layout of the lobby prevented the luggage cart from reaching the parking area. Luggage had to be carried from the vehicle to the lobby. It was a similar situation on the 4th floor. The baggage cart had to be left at the elevator and the luggage carried down the hall to the room.
