The hotel was fine for a one night stay as we were travelling on the Yellowhead. Room was clean, newly renovated and the bed was comfortable. I also really appreciated that the hotel did not allow pets. Breakfast was what you expect from that standard of hotel in North America, coffee was very good.
We would have liked to sleep with the window open but there was no screen and there are mosquitoes in Valemount. The hotel provides flimsy plastic cutlery at breakfast. Not only that cutting anything and eating with these utensils is disgusting, but the Wyndham group is not complying to Canada's ban on single use plastics.

Our room was very clean, spacious and looked very new, everything was in great condition. Air conditioner worked well. Lighting was adequate, bed was comfortable, shower was great, mini fridge worked well, toiletries were also beyond my expectations. There was even a coffee pod machine in the room. Breakfast was great, lounge was comfortable. Facility is very satisfactory for the type of accommodation you would expect at a Super 8. Price was very fair for the quality of service. If clean, safe and comfortable is what you are looking for, this place is perfect!
It's hard to find anything to complain about in this place, at most I would say that the dining area could use a bit more seating.

A typical Super 8, and everything good as expected, no surprises. Large rooms, quiet, convenient parking facilities. The hotel is ideally located at the entrance of the village, close to all restaurants and shops and to the motorway, yet it is quiet in the evening. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, gave us an early check-in so that we could get rid of our luggage and still enjoy the rest of the day
Breakfast good but nothing special, as expected in a Super 8. The 'pancake machine' is a funny gimmick, but the pancakes itself have little or no taste

Us pensioned, retired folks were very happy with the price, large room, and the breakfast. The huge head-bed scenic black & white photographs were beautiful. Parking and check-in was easy. The breakfast room was cosy and breakfast adequate. We were pleased to see this hotel had a bathtub. We liked the big mirrors.
The toilet/bathtub area was small and claustrophobic. Being older, we missed not having brighter lights as some second bulbs had been removed. Coffee much too strong. Need second coffee machine as there was a line-up.

Breakfast was good although hot food was limited. Only offered sausages. Not sure if that’s the done thing though. Had a guest laundry to use.
We only had notes and front counter wouldn‘t exchange for coins to enable us to use the laundry. There were no banks around or open for us together coins so we asked the pizza shop across the road to exchange a $5 note for some $1 coins and cleaned them outof their change. Fair enough the accommodation wasn’t a bank however could they have given us the $4 in coins and then added it to the bill? Perhaps they can get a change machine installed or convert the machines to tap & pay.

Everything was clean and tidy. I liked the mountain photos. I liked the shelf above the fridge and microwave. It was very handy to hold our luggage at a convenient level for access. Very good design. I also liked the sink separate from the tub and toilet. Very convenient.
What I didn't like about the shelf above the fridge and microwave was the lack of any decent light to see what you were doing. The bed was comfortable once I managed to get on it. It was way too high. The pillows were too thick so they put a kink in your neck.

Clean pleasant good sized rooms . Ground floor accommodation . Beautiful location. . Laundry facilities available on site . Good coffee from coffee machine . Fair variety of food available for breakfast and fruit .
If we put a “do not disturb “sign on door over breakfast , the room was not cleaned that day . The manager later told us that if the sign was up at 8 am in the morning , he cancelled the cleaners for that day .

Room facilities were ok , bed very comfy , breakfast was buffet style which suits the traveller ok , staff excellent and informative, there is little to do , a supermarket which sells most things including fresh which you can take back to room , a bar with a good atmosphere ,and several walks ,a drive into Jasper is required if larger town needed which is what we did but as a stop over great
Nothing for us , this was a stopover on road trip sightseeing as such hit the mark

The location outside of a busy hub like Jasper was ideal! The people were great, room great, and we met a few new friends at breakfast. Everyone at breakfast was in a good mood which is a good indicator of how their night/room was. We would definitely stay here again.
I can’t think of anything that could be better. PS you need to get supper out somewhere so plan your supper time around the restaurants in town. It’s a small town so not everything is open.
