The cabin was perfect for our needs: clean, comfy, plenty of space to cook some simple meals and a porch to sit on when the sun broke through. Not sure why the original architect didn't run the cabins perpendicular to how they're oriented now, so they would look over the field "out back". But, c'est la vie. We were treated to a hunting gyrfalcon, nonetheless. Tara was super-helpful, even though it was off-season and nobody else was there when we arrived. Even came up with a large pot for us when we obtained a pile of lobster and crabs that needed some steaming. Would happily stay here again if I end up back in the neighborhood.

I recently had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is elegantly designed,which gives a very comfortable feeling. The front desk staff were very warm and professional, making the check-in process quick and efficient. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom amenities were also of high quality, with great attention to detail. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel not only excels in its facilities but also in its service quality. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again on my next trip.

The location was Central for our plans. 10 minutes from Deer Lake. 30 minutes from Gross Morne. 30 minutes from Corner Brook which was really a beautiful spot. @2 hours to Triton to see icebergs. 1 hour from Western Brook Pond tour which was great.

The weather is off and on and staying 7 nights gave us the option for bad weather days. It was central for what we wanted

We loved how quiet it was. The cottage is renovated inside and beautifully decorated. It was also super clean! The owner and staff were very friendly. The laundry facility was a plus as well

Driveway up is rough and loose gravel, harder for bikes. Air conditioning is super noisy. Could use more opaque curtains as the wind would move the trees over the parking light and kept darkening and lighting inside the room once lights off

Very comfortable beds. Everything we needed was there. Close to town and easy to find. The same day we were to arrive, I got an email as the cottage we rented was not available, so they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom house. So I have no idea what the actual cottages were like.

The premises are in need of some painting and updating, but this did not take away from them having everything we needed.

It was a lovely place. Easy to find and close to the highway.

Its not a dislike but more of a suggestion. I had my senior parents with me and the shower stall was quite worrisome for them to safely shower. A grab bar would be a great addition and a non slip bath mat in the shower would be a fool proof way of keeping someone from slipping.

Lovely cabin. Lots of space. Beautiful handmade quilts on the beds. Dark and quiet bedrooms great for sleeping. Lovely side porch with patio set. All of the furniture was very comfortable and the cabin was very clean. Lots of nice touches like baskets of face clothes and toiletries.

Well stocked kitchen, but missing a couple items we wanted like a cutting board, pot lids and coffee filters.

We had a wonderful stay in a 2 bdr cottage with full kitchen and everything we needed. There was also a lovely patio with a beautiful view and low-cost laundry facilities. We got a great room upgrade we didn't even expect, couldn't be more grateful for that!

Beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept., 10 minutes to Deer Lake to amenities. Owner very responsive. Ist year in operation.

Weather was muggy, air conditioner did not work well, very loud and did not cool as it should have. Hard to converse over the noise. Shower head needs to been changed as unable to regulate the spray. New owners, trying hard, would definitely return

The cottage was in the perfect location for us to explore the area. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We were delighted to find it had a Keurig coffee machine. The open layout of the cottage was perfect for a couple looking for a little getaway.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been a large bathtub for soaking after our hiking.
