Called nite before re: fridge & microwave not showing on rm profile. Assured available, Ok! So fridge in rm kept cutting out; FrtDsk clerk immediately responds gets it working better, 10 min later cuts out. He knocks on door with colleage to replace fridge. Food: Great: restaurant buzy, but Lil Jim Pub Wing nite; Aced

I made the mistake of booking this place before landing in Deer Lake. Well AirCanada had other plans and we had to reroute to St John’s. I came to learn though, that Deer Lake rarely sells out of hotel rooms. You’re better off just waiting to see if your plane lands instead of being stuck paying for a room you never use.

Close proximity to the Trans Canada. Good easy location to find. Near gas refuelling stations. I arrived later than planned, after 10:00pm and the front desk came within minutes to give me my room keys. Friendly and courteous.

The room I had was very good, just a little small. Bed squeaked but was comfy.

Easy check in & out, comfortable bed. Really nice to have attached restaurant on a cold rainy day & surprisingly quiet for a good nights sleep. Bed was cozy for two people.

Bathroom was small, weirdly laid out. Need to navigate stairs to get to most rooms.

A nice, quiet motel. It was clean, extra comfy pillows and blankets were provided. Amenities like restaurants and gas stations nearby. The price was definitely right as well. It's an older building so set your expectations accordingly. I would stay again. Lovely staff.

I would like to see new mattresses, ours was borderline needing to be replaced.

Staff was friendly. The Restaurant Jungle Jim’s On site has good food. The hotel itself is dated, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

There’s no elevators so you need to carry your stuff up two flights of stairs.

We drifted in, we drifted out... without any hassles. Room was acceptable. We needed an evening layover after our flight, and the Driftwood Inn succeeded in that. Restaurant was open, and the staff was helpful getting the TV going for us

The restaurant wasn't open for breakfast.

Been Staying at the Driftwood since 1993. Always friendly and good value

Only has Jungle Jims for eatery. I remember when the Driftwood had its own dining room with local flavour.
