The room hard surface furniture is dated and tired looking. The a/c doesn’t really work just blows not hot air Some of the restaurant staff were excellent - Jade Some were not as good. One didn’t share breakfast special with us but we overheard every other server telling guests about the deal. But when we questioned her about it she shard she doesn’t tell people because they are supposed to tell us at check in?? Weird answer

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The room was surprisingly spacious, with a very comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. We also appreciated the on-site breakfast restaurant — the food was tasty and convenient to have right downstairs.

Some areas could use improvement. The corridors felt quite old and outdated, and the balcony needed a major cleaning, which took away from the overall experience a bit.

The staff were extremely helpful, even providing assistance with very late check-in and covering for the xmas season impact on restaurant availability by providing a breakfast and sandwich buffet. The restaurant provides an excellent fair at reasonable prices. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Excellent location to many ammenities and value for money.

There is much more demand on vending machines for late arrivals. All machines require cash to access the machines, recommend upgrading to card pay systems.

The bedroom was large and the facilities were good. There was ample parking.

It was rather confusing trying to locate our room. We carried baggage up stairs to next floor because there appeared to be no elevator. We later found an elevator, almost hidden in back area, hardly any signage. Eventually found our room by going through a fire door to find an extended hallway where room 130 was.

This is an historic hotel that has been tastefully renovated to its original date, yet with modern conveniences. The lobby and dining room especially are very attractive. The food in the dining room was delicious, with some local specialties.

The elevator was small and slow, but that’s ok; I’m sure it didn’t exist originally, so finding a place to squeeze one in was impressive.

Very nice room, although we had to wheel our luggage a fair distance to get to the elevator (but carts solved that problem).

The banging at 7:15 am in the morning. It sounded like a roter router or drill in the bathroom beside or above us. No worries as we were already up at 7 am. Front desk didn't know what it was, but maybe pipes or AC banging.

Beautiful property, well kept. Room was small, but clean.

Could do with an upgrade to the TV. It was small and the quality of picture was poor. We were not told by the front desk that housekeeping staff would not be doing a daily check on the room to see if glasses, etc. needed replacing. After waiting most of day we we found and asked a housekeeping staff member as-to why our room was not checked. We were informed that the room was only checked every two days. If we needed anything we had to call the front desk. Covid rules were mentioned. Would like to have been informed of this at check in.

Felt like we were in a movie setting! 1920s era building with a lot of history but modern facilities including elevator. Breakfast room was spacious, food good.

It's a little tired around the edges, but as post pandemic visits pick up,b that can be addressed. Service a little slow, but it's early for their summer season.

The reception was friendly and very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and had wonderful meals. Staff were kind and professional. When I was checking out the reception was again, very informative, friendly and kind. Loved my stay and will stay again.
