We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom 2nd floor unit which far exceeded our needs and expectations for our 5-night stay. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is close to the highway enabling us to access Corner Brook in less than 5 minutes. Within easy walking distance were a convenience store, restaurant/pub, souvenir shop, ice cream shop, sports equipment store, etc. Steady Brook itself is a safe and walkable town on the banks of the beautiful Humber River. The deck on the unit overlooks the Steady Brook river.

The lighting over the kitchen counter space could have been a bit better. Because only the skylight on the 2nd floor can be opened, the upper bedrooms can become stuffy when the temperatures are warm. It would've been nice to have a BBQ right at our unit. These were only minor inconveniences.

Exceptionally comfortable and expansive. Full kitchen with plenty of utensils. Fabulous property. The property manager waited to check us in personally, which was quite helpful as we had arived on the evening ferry. Most accommodating and appreciated.

The signage was lacking to the property so Marble-"wood" with other properties nearby called Marble-"villa" etc. made it hard to find. There needs to be a sign so that newcomers can find the correct property, especially at night.

We loved the location being so close to nature and hiking trails. There’s even a beautiful creek running through the back of the property which we enjoyed every day from our private patio. The space we rented was a beautifully & fully equipped condo including a warm electric fireplace - we absolutely loved the apartment!! Some amenities are also close by, within a 5 min walk there’s: Piker’s Pub (highly recommend for good eats & drinks), gas station, gift shop and laundromat. You can also walk 5 minutes to your next adventure at Marble Mountain, where you can try some zip lining in summer (zip over the waterfall!) & skiing in winter. The scenery in the area is beyond gorgeous!! The owner & staff are all outstanding!! Everything was always in order and our requests were responded to quickly and generously! Really, we can’t say enough that would describe the amazing experience we had staying here!!!

There’s nothing not to love here!! The only thing to mention: you will need a vehicle to get around as it’s not walking distance to the city. But, it’s so worth the drive!! We can’t wait to stay again!!!

our unit was groundfloor which was great for not having to carry luggage but with the dark decor inside seemed lacking natural light and just a little cold. Someone in a neighbouring unit was smoking outside the building in the back when we arrived so we couldn't enjoy the little terrace which was beautiful.

Excellent location and unit for the price!

My only complaint was the very large group of children running up and down the stairs to a group gathering in the parking lot until 10:30 at night. It was like listening to elephants and there were no staff on site to quiet the group down. The kids were screaming and yelling from the parking lot as well… for hours….

Great spot hidden away from eyes! Very quite and relaxing despite being close to the highway. Amazing living room with comfy sofas, electric fireplace and beautiful view on a river. Kitchen has very modern appliances and all you would need for cooking. A bar is 3 minutes walk and a convenience store is 5 minutes away driving.

Unbelievable value. We kept finding more rooms in our suite. Exceptionaly clean, 3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, balcony with 4 chairs overlooking babbling river, fireplace, TV, 5G wifi, leather furniture. Honestly one of the best rooms I have had in over 40 years of travel. Definitely on opur list for places to stay when travelling across Nfld,

The resort was located near the highway, making it easy to access. The staff were lovely—friendly and welcoming. Parking was right outside the door, which was very convenient.

My stay happened to fall during the hottest days in the area. Since there was no AC, the rooms became uncomfortably hot.

Wow!! This property is gorgeous! Miranda was very accommodating to us as we needed to arrive a bit late due to our boat arrival time. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that we aren’t staying here longer! We will definitely be back soon and stay for a week next time!

Wonderful experience! The perfect getaway with my husband for a night without kiddos. The back porch with chairs on the river is such a wonderful bonus!

They don’t have the option of a smart TV and the cable provider doesn’t offer apps like Netflix and Disney.
