The staff were very kind, personable, and very helpful. My wife left her bathroom bag last time we stayed two months ago and the manager held it for her until we returned for another, scheduled, stay. The room was clean, a comfortable temperature in a cold winter, and well appointed. The beds, furnishings and details in the bathroom were new, fresh and well considered. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The view from the window enjoyable, especially at sunrise. The breakfast room was clean and with a satisfying array of edibles from waffles to eggs, cereal to bagels, Tea, juice, milk and more. The view from the breakfast sliding door was calming and inspiring. A cardinal visited while we ate -always appreciated! We feel the stay was great value for money.

The coffee was a tad bitter for our tastes! Everything else was surprisingly satisfactory :)

It looked like it had been very recently renovated! All clean, spotless paint, 2 good sized beds, and super quiet. I really like the wider than average tub in the shower -plus the curved shower rod made it quite spacious feeling. Breakfast included make-your-own waffles, dry cereal, yoghurt, toast and bagels, boiled eggs and coffee and tea. The breakfast room was also the deer spotting room - keep an eye out towards the water! The bathroom mirror was one of those new models with led lights around it -good stuff. Room was larger than typical, and the night table had built in outlets, including USB outlets,

Another stand for another suitcase would help. The closet area is a bit tight, and more hangers would be welcome.

We greatly appreciated the simplicity of the accommodations. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff was welcoming, both friendly and good humoured. The breakfast was basic and self-serve, providing a healthy start to the day. The location is fine as it is out in the scenic countryside away from the noise in town. It was a step up from the usual travelodge or windham in that everything was fresher -- not so tired as most accommodations at the same price level. We look forward to staying again next month

The salt water pool was lovely. The free breakfast was tasty with a variety of items. The beds were also comfortable. Everything was as expected. The rooms each have a mini fridge and ice is provided at reception should we have needed it for drinks or our small cooler. Breakfast staff was very friendly. They are painting and renovating the rooms. We had 2 separate stays and were in 2 different rooms. Some rooms were more up to date than others but all with the same amenities. I would stay they there again.

Nothing we didn't like. Accommodation was as expected.

The rooms are large and well appointed. The office area has a lot of beautiful artwork for sale, but it's also very nice to just look at it. The breakfast was quite good, with a waffle maker and pastries along with fruit and yogurt and so on. The Wi-Fi was good. All the rooms are ground floor and there is sufficient parking for at least one car in front of each room.

The motel is a little bit outside of town. This is obvious from looking at a map, but what's not obvious is that it's not a super pleasant walk because the speed limit on the road is quite high and people exceed it, including big trucks. And there aren't really great shoulders. So, just don't think that you're really going to be walking to town. You can, but I don't think it's a great idea.

The place & our room were clean. Breakfast was ok. It’s a nice quiet place to stay.

I wish there was gf bread available. I did my laundry at 8:30 pm as we were out all day sightseeing. I was told that I can’t put them in the dryer until the morning as there were rooms on each side of the laundry area. There were no signs saying laundry should be finished by 9pm or else I would have started earlier. An iron would have been nice too.

This is an 'old-style' motel where you can park right outside the door to your room. Though it looks a little dated on the inside, the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and bright and updated, with a long counter to put toiletries. The room had a full closet as well as a luggage stand, so lots of space to put your things. The room also had a fridge and coffee maker. The front desk loaned me a kettle to boil water for tea. The free breakfast buffet was good - make-your-own waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, juice boxes, etc., so plenty of choice and no one needed to go hungry. The cost for my room was less than it would have been if I'd stayed at one of the inns in Annapolis Royal itself, which is a few kilometres away.

Cleaning could be better in some areas. When I pulled the switch to turn on the hanging lamp, my fingers stuck to the ball at the end of the chain. Since I had wipes in the car, I used two of them to clean this one little thing. I used others to clean the remote for the TV and the phone. They were also pretty dirty when I finished. Lighting in the room could be better - they use low-wattage bulbs, which I understand, but makes it hard to see, and really hard to read.

Roomy, comfortable and clean. Quiet location. Access to a laundry and breakfast included. An older establishment, but nothing wrong with it. Good, basic accommodation.

We could have been provided with more information at check-in. We had to enquire about wi-fi access and only found out about the laundry by accident. Room could do with better lighting.

The breakfast was one of the best motel breakfasts ever! No bacon or sausage but very other breakfast possibility was there to choose. Great coffee! Poached eggs, waffles, toast, jam, food bars, fruit....just great

It would be very easy for them to have a card in the room explaining the complicated TV setup and how to get on the wifi. They had a nice sitting area but the gardens around had been totally neglected. Overgrown shrubs and weed up to our waist!

Annapolis Royal Inn is very conveniently located (4 minute drive) to a number of nearby museums, parks and restaurants. The property is quiet, very well maintained, and has a nice heated outdoor pool. Hot Breakfast was excellent with several options to choose from. The Belgian waffles was our morning go to. Staff are very courteous and caring. This is a great little inn to stop at during a visit to the beautiful and history-rich Annapolis Royal.
