The location is excellent, just a short walk along the waterfront to the "downtown" area of Digby with its restaurants. Our room was one of the seaview rooms, and it had a marvellous view over Digby harbour and the marina with the fishing boats. The room was large and very clean. The staff were accommodating.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Usually B and B's offer a cereal/granola option as well as eggs, and here there was only the one option, eggs benedict and bacon and toast. No choice to have cereal, no muffins, orange juice only, etc.

Lovely room by the water, away from the main house. There were seats outside each room and in the garden overlooking the water. It was a very short walk into town for restaurants and the owner recommended the Wheelhouse restaurant just out of town which was excellent.

Two sittings for breakfast!! We were disappointed to be told that we had to be at breakfast for 7.30am as the 9am sitting was full. Also you can’t arrive slightly late for breakfast as the hot food is prepared for 7.30 on the dot!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We were served 2 crepes, maple syrup, bacon, and fruit. We chose the earlier sitting of 7:30 a.m. because we needed to leave early for a swim meet. We were extremely pleased that the breakfast was ready promptly so that we were able to eat before needing to check out. We knew we were cutting it close with our commitment at the 8:00 a.m. swim meet. The staff was very accommodating to make sure we were able to have time to eat our breakfast!

This is a very nice B&B right in the heart of Digby, near the waterfront and excellent restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and the portions were generous. The room was cute and comfortable. The proprietor and her husband were very nice and helpful in a lot of ways.

The AC blew almost directly over the bed and the fan in the bathroom was VERY loud. I wish the coffee had been more accessible - there was a coffee maker and a small fridge that 4 or 5 rooms had to share. The room was advertised as having a water view, but ours didn't.

We loved the breakfast that was served in the beautiful dining area both days. Our room was comfortable.and the scenery was nice.

I should have requested a first floor room because my husband had trouble with going up stairs. The owner carried out luggage up for us , but we had to get it down ourselves and it was very heavy for my 83 year old husband.

My room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the harbor and the boats. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was yummy. Barb and Joe were very reassuring about the safety of the property during Hurricane Lee, and indeed, having a quiet day indoors was pleasant under the circumstances. Lots of dining options within easy walking distance, and the ambiance of Digby was great. Good base to enjoy the sights from Yarmouth to Annapolis. Sitting on the lawn in the evening was a great way to meet other guests.

I can't blame Barb and Joe for a hurricane and the resulting cancelled whale watching. :-) Lots of other things to do, so no worries...

The view from our room was spectacular and on waterfront. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself was lovely. Great location walking distance to downtown and close to walking trails.

The breakfast setup is poor. They have two sittings. The first morning we had no choice but to go on the early sitting as the other was booked. This didn't suit us at all and it was clear from the response that there was no flexibility at all. So if we didn't go at the specified time wouldn't have had any breakfast. This is not made clear in the description in booking.com. Also there was no choice, you had to have what was put on the plate in front of you. Had we not liked or been able to eat any of it, again it was very clear that they are entirely inflexible about this. The food that was served was quite nice, but not enough of it.

Come from away was just an excellent B&B. Just provided quality unique experience and nice atmosphere in when you Come from Away to visit Digby, NS. The title of the B&B fits for a quaint comfortable place to stay and enjoy!

Really can’t come up with anything to say about not liking our stay.

Location is stellar, situated on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of restaurants. There are chairs at the edge of the water with a view of the harbour and beyond, for use of the guests. Our room was comfortably spacious and tastefully decorated. With 2 queen beds, nighttables and reading lamps. Beds and bedding and comfortable. Small table with 2 easy chairs, a small fridge and a coffee maker. Good bathroom. Working AC. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, frittata, homemade hashbrowns, bacon, toast and a generous helping of fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. Lovely service. Highly reccommend this place. Good value for money

I cannot think of anything that would have made our stay at this lovely place better. Will definitely come back.

Stunning view from room, and a lovely location in beautiful Digby. Sunrise was spectacular. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Sofa in room too. Nicely decorated. Delicious breakfasts - especially the pancakes and fruit. Good to have a kettle in room. Free easy parking. An easy walk to town. Kind hosts.

Patio door was a little wonky- but we managed fine.
