The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. On the day we were there we had fresh fruit salad, orange juice, frittata with broccoli, mushrooms, peppers and cheese. We had a choice of tea or coffee. The menu varies daily from what we were told. The hosts, Kevin & Lesley, were very welcoming and went out of their way to provide a lot of useful information about Annapolis Royal and places to visit during your stay. They communicated well with us by email prior to our arrival. Our bedroom was very spacious and we had a very comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet and in a good location, only a short walk away from the river and boardwalk which made for a nice evening stroll.
Nothing to mention - it was all of a high standard and very good value.

This is a beautifully appointed and well-run BnB in a lovely heritage home. Kevin and Lesley are excellent hosts - fun and friendly and full of information about the local area and history. Their inn is well maintained, spotlessly clean and full of whimsical and interesting antiques and artifacts. The hosts served a wonderful freshly made breakfast which also gave us an opportunity to meet and talk with the other guests. The location is part of the beautiful and historic Annapolis Royal townsite, and an easy walk to Fort Anne National Park and heritage buildings. features and interpretive materials - a very interesting part of Canada to visit.
I can't think of anything to improve,

It is a real "experience" to stay in a Victorian era home, but with facilities fully moderized. Great location and attentive hosts full of interesting information and detailed advice. Many books and collectables to explore in the living and sitting rooms. Bed and bathroom were great. Fabulous breakfast.
If someone wanted to watch TV (eg sports event or local news) they need to bring your own internet connected device. This is not that kind of place. Read some of the many books. Or talk to people ; - )

The hosts made us feel very much at home and gave us ideas and brochures regarding places to visit and eat. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. It was located within walking distance of downtown with its unique buildings, eating establishments and walking trails. The host was more than helpful in filling us in on much local history. The 2 breakfasts provided were both fabulous and tasty - top notch! We had no idea what a beautiful B &B we had chosen as we live far away in Winnipeg, MB but our experience was more than we could hope for. It was very good value for our money.
The only thing that we could possibly complain about was the very high bed. We would prefer a bed that was lower to the ground - one that we don’t have to use a step to get into.

We absolutely loved this B&B! Historic property, beautiful and eclectic decor, interesting historical information on little plaques throughout. We really enjoyed both our room and all the public areas for breakfast/sitting in. The hosts are very kind and interesting, with so much great information about the area. Home cooked breakfast on beautiful plates, with excellent coffee. We really loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. One of the more memorable places we've stayed at.
Nothing really. Maybe it would have been nice to have a meat option for breakfast (perhaps coincidentally both breakfasts we had were vegetarian), but regardless breakfast was delicious and beautifully served!

The Lark and Loon is a beautiful older property, exquisitely decorated and with many interesting artefacts, many made by the hosts. The hosts provide a friendly welcome, delicious breakfasts and many interesting facts about Annapolis Royal and surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay with them, and it was pleasant to spend the latter part of the evening in the sitting room, reading and listening to music. We highly recommend a stay here.
There was nothing to dislike.

Beautiful inn, convenient to town.
One of the hosts mentioned he had to leave town that night so breakfast the next day would be a parfait. Lovely crystal glass, some yogurt with granola, coffee, juice … but that was it. No scones, muffins, or toast. Told hosts we were leaving early the next morning before stated breakfast time. Hosts said they would see us off. Thought perhaps there would be bagged breakfast pastry and coffee but there was nothing. They were awake, the table was set and ready for another couple, the one host hadn’t left … and there was no offer of breakfast to go … at a bed AND breakfast. Have travelled extensively and never encountered that before.

We loved this B&B! The hosts, Kevin and Lesley, were wonderful and very friendly. Kevin was a wealth of information on the local area. The rooms (both sleeping and common) were beautifully decorated and included lots of Kevin's beautiful pottery work. This has to be the nicest B&B we have ever stayed at! We appreciated the regular communication leading up to our visit and will definitely stay here again. The area around the B&B is beautiful and quiet and the downtown area and fort are an easy walk away.
Absolutely nothing.

This property is outstanding offering a unique experience is a beautiful historical character home. The attention to detail is incredible and the comfort this home provides is a wonderful alternative to a hotel stay. Our room and connecting bath were lovely and we enjoyed the comfort of the common rooms as well. Breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The Lark and Loon Inn far exceeded everything we were hoping to experience with a bed and breakfast. Our prior experiences with B&Bs had been "stuffy" but Kevin and Leslie were not only amazing hosts and cooks but went the extra mile in making us feel as if we were coming home for holiday, whole heartedly welcomed by family. The home itself is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet with lots of room to spread out and visit. Keven typically showed up barefooted, entertaining us with his colorful stories, which were historically very informative and engaging. The breakfast extravaganza was a delight each morning and so very delicious, to the point that I arrived home with several of their recipes for my own future family gatherings. You cannot go wrong with booking here. Hands down, our overall best B&B experience - highly recommend 10/10.
Everything was perfect!
