Older but nicely updated, and very clean oceanfront motel, has a 40 ft balcony over the water with a lovely view for guest use. Great place to sit and chill out after a day of sightseeing.The air conditioned unit was roomy with comfortable beds and a kitchenette. Breakfast was not included, but eating options were a short distance away, as was a large grocery store. Coffee maker and supplies were in the unit. Staff, including the owner, were friendly and helpful. And no problems with wifi connection, as we have experienced several times at large chain hotels on this trip! was friendly and helpful.

The cottage was very well maintained, clean and spacious with all the amenities needed. The view from the lower deck and grassy ocean frontage was spectacular (even in the fog! Lol). AC was great and the beds comfie. The owner and staff very helpful and went out of thier way to see if there was availability at any location in Digby for our son and his girlfriend due to last minute scheduling of their trip to be near us in Digby. True Down East hospitality! Also a very nice gift shop right next door featuring local artists!

The fridge was a little smaller than most cottages/cabins we booked but there was no shortage of restaurants nearby to have meals without need to cook.

The room was impressive - clean, roomy, had everything a traveller needs including a clothesline and a night light in the washroom. The staff were even more impressive. I was greeted at the door, check in took less than 5 minutes and then we saw another staff member who offered us extra towels because of the rain. And the view was phenomenal - pictures do not do it justice. I would highly recommend this location to everyone, whether it be for one night or an extended stay.

I can’t think of anything to improve our stay except perhaps more time to stay longer.

The room was well equipped, warm and clean. Parking right outside the door, we had everything we needed at our fingertips. Excellent waterfront private deck and seating area, fantastic views and a lovely place to spend the evening hours. No sound transfer between units, very well insulated. Great bed, mattress was very supportive, good quality linen.

Would have been a bonus to have some breakfast offering available. Bathroom was a little snug in our unit, probably not suitable for wheelchair users, but perhaps other units might have been.

The view was stunning, the beds so comfy and the cottage with parking was so clean, staff extremely helpful when asked questions and amendable to help. The location of the cottage is excellent and close to lovely restaurants and bars.

There was nothing not to like however my assumption with a kitchenette would be that we would at least be provided with cutlery and plates and bowls. It was not a problem as the owner provided plastic cutlery when asked and dollerama was 2 mins up the road and 2 plates and bowls were $6.

The room had more space than I expected. We were only there for one night, so we didn't need all the space/kitchen. But since were were road tripping in Nova Scotia it was nice to have the big fridge. The BEST part was the community deck/courtyard. It was beautiful and amazing at night and at sunrise. We didn't get to enjoy it at high tide, but it was lovely.

This has nothing to do with the facility. We went to the "fancy" Wheelhouse for Digby Scallops. Don't. We are from Colorado, and I've had better scallops there. They had a nice view, but very basic food. Get in your car and go further.

Clean and very comfortable beds. Plenty of room. Great location. Good restaurant recommendations. We tried the Sydney St Pub and Cafe and lived it. Fridge, kettle and microwave included. We were even able to borrow a toaster to make some breakfast. Great view out over the water from the chairs outside. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It would have been perfect had their been a lounge to watch tv after dinner. But they have two beds instead, so it's a compromise.

Room was just like on a picture - beds are very comfortable and the location is great.

Bathroom mirror was dirty and we were asked to wash the dishes after using them, which is totally fine, but there was no dish soap and sponge provided, so it was kinda unpleasant to wash them just with bare hands. Also, the coffee machine was not functioning (but I am sure it would have been fixed if we asked for it, however we left really early in the morning and didn’t want to wake up the host).

The front desk staff was wonderful! So friendly and helpful. The room was very neat, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Close to the downtown strip to walk to everything, plus a Sobeys, Superstore and other stores in driving distance. We loved the huge outside seating area with a lookout over the bay - this was a bonus to us as we didn’t realize it was there! A beautiful spot and we’d highly recommend.

This is excellent value for money. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We slept well. In addition to a spacious room and on site parking, there is a garden with a lower deck for guests' use and this looks out over the water with wonderful views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is in the centre of the town so an easy walk to local amenities. The Sea Biscuit Cafe is a must if you want some great food and drink.
