The cabins were great. Especially for 3 people it was perfect. Had everything we needed, the bathroom new and well done. It was super quiet and the location and proximity to the park was wonderful. Also nice to eat breakfast outside with the family. Great value for the price.

We weren’t sure about what the kitchen stocked. Would be helpful to mention in the description that there’s no pantry items in the kitchen.

The cabin was basic but had most things we needed. We were delayed in arrival as we had a flat tyre, I messaged the host and she could not have been more accommodating with good communication and then turned the heat up so we arrived late to a warm cabin which was very welcome

A television and a tumble dryer were advertised but neither were in the cabin.

I had everything I needed and it was so much more then an hotel room .you can see that it is a project in development stage everything is new and I am sure it will be a praised spot for traveller's.

I feel I am picky but in all honesty I found that It was lacking a comfortable place to sit inside but myself I spend more time outside anyways.

Friendly staff, cabin was warm. Extra linen provided on request. Good base for the area. Petrol station/convenience store over the road. Lots of room around the cabin.

Needed better cutlery. Not enough and all mismatched. Kitchen needs crockery/cutlery updating (plastic wine glasses).

Gabriela gave us a lot of tips and insights about the area. The huts are located in Madawaska, just about 15 minutes away from the East Gate of Algonquin Provincial Park. Each hut had its on fireplace, outside picnic area and bbq.

The hut could have been equipped a little bit more (e. g. there was no tea towel or a pan).

I liked the roominess of the property and the fact it was on the property.

I didn’t like that there was no soap besides hand soap in the bathroom. I would have brought some if I had known. I had to go buy it. Also the beds are not super comfortable.

Very clean, quiet spot. Beds were comfy. The cabin was cozy and warm with the gas fireplace. Kitchen is well equipped. On-demand water heater provides lots of hot water for showers. Nice trails nearby and only 25 mins drive to Algonquin Park East Gate. 20 mins to Barry's Bay, 15 mins to Whitney

Gabriela is a great!!. Very helpful and explained us all the important locations and provided valuable information about the local area. The Cabin is conveniently located close right next to Hway60. And close to the Algonquin park.

Perfect location close to Algonquin. Canoe+Kayak renting next door, launch point for a nice Madawaska river tour close by. Very welcoming and helpful host.

We stayed in the new cabin (which is brand-new), so the condition of the cabin was much better than shown on the pictures. There is a gas BBQ that can be used and a fire place, mosquito nets at the windows (really needed !), and twin beds in one room.

LOTS of mosquitos after sunset, in particular when using the BBQ; the cabin is not large, but this has not been claimed. Good alternative to the expensive options closer to the park.
