Wonderful house with a great view on Golden Lake. Our hosts offered us so many activities like swimming in the pool or in the lake at the beach, where you also can make campfire in the evening, take canoes, sup-boards and kayaks free to use. We also got some awesome recommendations for hiking-tours and restaurants. The breakfast, the cookies, the beaverages and the fruits were really tasty and we didn't miss anything. Thank you for the great time we had at Greystone, we felt very welcome!

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious . The interior of the house was beautiful. The surrounding area was very scenic.

As the weather was not overly dry it would have been lovely to have two very comfortable sitting chairs in the bedroom right beside the picture window so that we could sit and look out at the lake while we read. I think that it might be wise to tell future clients that there is no television in the room or in the lounges. As the Olympics were on and the local weather was not great we would have liked to have watched some of the Olympic Games during the evenings. However, perhaps most people now stream programmes through their computer and phones .

Amazing hospitality from Cindy and Mike. The stay was fantastic because of their attention to detail and outgoing personalities. Their property was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and healthy (they grow all their fruits, veggies, herbs and even make their own maple syrup in their backyard!!). My friend and I were planning on going to Algonquin Park for a hiking adventure during our stay. Not only did Cindy and Judy give us trail recommendations, they prepared a tote bag with all the things we might need during our hike - from bug spray to band aids to bear bell to M&Ms in case we took a wrong turn, anything you needed was in the bag. They treated us like friends who were visiting from out of town! We will definitely be coming back for more adventures!

Staff were wonderful, the place is so beautiful and there were a lot of free activities available like paddle boards, canoes, pool. We were greeted with a glass of wine upon arriving which was lovely to drink outside on their beautiful patio. The rooms were comfortable and homemade cookies and tea were available throughout the house. We only stayed one night but I would definitely come back

if this place had a hot tub, that would have made it even better!

We had an absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for money. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast—fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety each morning. The attention to detail and the care from the staff truly set this place apart. Whether you're looking for relaxation or a great location, this is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it enough!

We booked a last minute trip this past weekend to Greystone for the first time and were so happy that we did. We stayed in the master king with the balcony and the room was larger than an entire floor of our house. It was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was phenomenal and Cindy & Mike made us feel so comfortable and so welcome. We loved having access to the beautiful beach and the kayaks for some sunset paddling. Everything about our stay was perfect and we’ll absolutely come back!

Breakfast was brilliant different every day all homemade, local produce. The hosts were amazing couldn’t do enough for you, happy to book restaurants and organise permits for the national park. Stunning lakeside location, facilities include an outdoor pool in season, bikes for your use and much more.

Local restaurants served excellent food but you do have to drive 15 minutes or more, there aren’t any in walking distance. Also they stop serving at 8pm most nights.

We had such an amazing stay !!! Even better then I imagined ! The hosts were so friendly and gracious and we instantly felt at home . The property is so serene and peaceful , the room was very clean and luxurious . We loved paddle boarding , biking and loved swimming in the lake ! The whole surrounding area is just so beautiful , we had never been to this area before and will definitely be back ! The breakfast was SO good , I was very surprised at the amount of food and we didn’t have to eat lunch which allowed us to spend the our days relaxing and sightseeing . Eagles nest lookout was a highlight . Loved that the host incorporates veggies from her garden into the morning breakfast ! This couple really goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, truly !!! We are already thinking about our next trip back ! Thank you again ! Ryan and Stacie Bisnett

A fabulous guesthouse set right by the lake. Free access to SUPs, kayaks and canoes was a major plus. The breakfasts are fantastic and different each day with everything homemade and organic where possible. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The stay included passes to Algonquin provincial park and again the recommendations for where to go were spot on.
