Very old school in a very good way. Pool was open though it was a little chilly so I didn't use, the ggrounds are lovely with a nice area on the Bay . the room was quiet large, could use new mattresses but was like a step back to the old lodges and inns I eexpect in the north, Retro in a very good way, the kitchen was well equiped enough for basics, shower was great lots of big opening windows for airflow. No A/C that I could see (it went to 8C at nightt so with a cracked window i never noticed) We are already considering returning for a winter weekend . The Cafe makes a fantastic classic breakfast

Beautiful scenery. Quiet. Friendly. Affordable. Very clean.

It was beautiful. The room was to overlook the water, however, I was not familiar with lily pads and reeds. I expected a clear lake view. It was still nice though. I would have like to have stayed longer.

The staff were only available by phone. Basically, all we got were the rooms. However, they were very clean.

Someone to talk to. Wi-Fi would have been nice.

It was super quiet, loved the front and back door. Pool was nice, and view or the water with a fire pit. The bathroom was bigger then most We had satillite tv. And a roomy entrance to hang coats and put shoes. Will definitely return.

Location and price.

Nothing actually but a complete facility wound be nice such as the canoe and boats for rent use would be a good sell for children’s as well but no complain at all since I brought my own inflatable.

This is a beautiful location and the inside of the room was very spacious. It had a kitchenette with burners, utensils, cookware, and a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and we had a dinning table. We ordered from the cafe/restaurant and the food was awesome for the price.

Neighbouring rooms you can hear through the walls, but the other guests seem friendly.

This was a great stop during our trip. Owner was super nice and helpful. And he makes a great, hearty breakfast in the morning at the cafe.

Location is wonderful - a quiet getaway in the beautiful Near North! Exceptionally clean and so nice to stay in an eco-conscious hotel!

Missed meeting the owners or any staff, which made it feel a bit impersonal

We had a lovely time, it's quiet and serene, the nature beautiful. I liked we could sit outside at the back and very convenient with the cafe on site.

One suggestion would be an ice machine
