I requested for a ground floor room. This is not what I was provided when I checked in, although I had an email prior that said that the request was confirmed. However, when I noticed that I was given a 2nd floor key, I reminded the desk clerk that I had requested a ground floor room, and she switched me to a ground floor room. It was perfect as it was close to the front desk. I was travelling with my brother who uses a walker, and would not have been able to manage the stairs.

We missed breakfast as we arrived so late the night before. It would be good if there were bagged breakfasts available for guests who miss the breakfast.

The front desk and breakfast staff were very professional, proficient, personable and patient. The young woman preparing and serving breakfast to my best friend and I was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about local tourist attractions and exceeded our high expectations for superior service and high quality food and beverages at breakfast. As a result of the excellent service and very friendly and accommodating staff we would highly recommend this hotel as one of the best places to stay in Parry Sound:) Andrew

The front desk staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The breakfast was above average for a continental, even if there were only three tables to sit at. It was busy when we arrived in the morning so we had a coffee and came back a half hour later to eat. The location is Central to everything in Parry Sound and there was plenty of parking. For us, it was a perfect spot. I really appreciated being able to park right outside my room. I would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was good, room was comfortable and location was perfect for my needs.

Only one thing and that was there were towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door which I assumed had been used and hung up by the previous occupant. I did mention this at check out and the young lady that served me was very apologetic. It was not a big deal as there were clean towels for me to use. Just thought I should mention it.

Great location and clean. Reception staff are very friendly and accommodating. The sink in the washroom was blocked and water was not draining; the receptionist gave us a liquid plumber and personally checked on us if the issue was resolved.

The male staff in charge of the breakfast area was staring hard on us; as if he was afraid we would eat all the food! That was ridiculous!

The room is clean. Bed sheets clean. Breakfast was good. The one in charge in the kitchen was very nice. He did a good job in running the breakfast room.

I didn’t like the pillows. Its not soft and quite short in size. I had a hard time sleeping, cant find the right position , woke up with stiff neck in the morning. Just too bad coz we really needed that sleep. I also didnt like that there’s only one bedside table. So my husband got the table with the lampshade on his side and i got none so i have to put my phone, my glasses, etc on the floor.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the tv worked! The best part was the receptionist, the night we arrived. She was so very friendly and very helpful. We were physically uncomfortable when we arrived, and she went out of her way to help us and make sure we were ok.

The facility has clearly undergone a recent renovation - the whole place sparkles. Lots of shops and restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

The parking lot is a disaster. Hopefully that's next on the renovation schedule!

The bed was comfy, it was a good location walking distance to shopping, food.

There was stains , hair on beddding, also the male cook that made breakfast was sneezing and coughing away on sunday morning, he appeared to be unwell.

Beds and pillows super comfortable as was the room.

Breakfast is not suitable for vegans. There is no non dairy milk for coffee. We were told 6:30 breakfast opened, but when we got there, the person setting up said not open until 7am.
