In room keurig was great. George (evening front desk person) was absolutely awesome! He is what made this facility worth the price we paid! Polite, helpful, funny, great conversation, & went out of his way to provide us with what we needed.

Guest laundry was down. Waffle maker was down (I can't eat eggs unless they are baked in something). Wifi was very spotty, even when sitting by the front desk. Guest computer by the front desk had no internet connectability.

We came here in April. The hotel is very nice, and breakfast was good. The staff is very nice and help you if you need it. I would come again.

Not the hotel's fault, but people can be very inconsiderate. People were leaving the back door open and smoking cannabis and cigarettes. So that smell was really strong down the hallway. I told the front desk and she took care of it. I really appreciated that.

Enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly. Location was good for a walk around town and along the waterfront.

Could not figure out how to use the Roku TV. No instructions or required pin numbers were provided. A small blue box for cans and bottles would be useful. The tiny garbage bin provided quickly filled up and was overflowing.

1) noisy. noise insulation between floors is not proper. can hear walking and talking from the room above way after midnight 2) tv is blocked for quiete a few channels.. it asks for pin to unblock.. it was a nuisance, though I did not call front desk to ask about this, and rather went to sleep as it was late anyways.. perhaps they supply a pin.. but, why the step?

My son and I were driving from Toronto to Edmonton and our first stop after a very long days drive was to be in Wawa. What better place to stay than at the Big Bird Inn! It was a quaint, comfy hotel with a very friendly staff and a nice room. The beds were super comfy and we really liked the electric fireplace that was a nice added touch and kept us nice and warm. Located very close to all of the nice restaurants and right on the Main Street in Wawa - and of course it was close to the big Canada Goose Statue!! It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend it!

everything was great

The hotel supported our very late check-in time. Front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was small, but all we needed for an overnight stay and the price was attractive. The breakfast (which was included) offered a great variety of hot and cold options and was replenished as needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

The location was our first stop of a 4 day trip, to Calgary, and it was amazing, the young gentleman (cant remember his name but it was on Dec 27/24 aroumd 6pm) who helped us get checked in, was amazing, and was super friendly and even our 2 chiwawas loved him!. I wish I knew his name, (forgot) so the next time we stay, we can get checked in by him again!

Eggs and coffee were good at the breakfast. Our room was clean and the shower was good. We were able to bring our dog, which was greatly appreciated.

They ran out of sausage and bacon and there were no chairs. The room was also very hot. Had difficulty getting the TV to work in our room.

Wonderful kind and helpful front desk receptionist on check in. Accommodated our pet, clean, large rooms. We got in a bit later and were able to get dinner at the Viking close by. Go to this restaurant, the women who work and run it and cook there are amazing, funny and so nice. Was a restful stop. Also great onsite parking for our large Uhaul which was nice.

Room 108, towel bar falling off the wall. No grab bar in shower, making it dangerous for slipping while getting in and out of tub, Towel bar probably coming out of wall, due to someone holding onto it to assist getting in or out of tub.
