For travelling, this is a great spot and easy to access. We arrived later than expected, but that wasn't a problem for the staff, and there was coffee and a jar of cookies available in the lobby. We stood outside after unpacking and admired the sky. There were also multiple access points for entering and exiting the building.

If you have a lot of luggage or aren't able to accommodate stairs, make sure you ask for a room(s) on the first floor.

Clean, comfortable, kind staff. Our room was very conveniently located for having a dog, and was much larger than I expected. Great value for money.

It is located on the highway which is great if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night. If you are interested in touring around town or going to the beach, you will need to drive into town. It's just up the road, but too far to walk.

Good for the money and location. It's just off the highway, has gas station nearby and police station as well, so I wasn't worried about safety. Also there's a beautiful waterfall and some farm a few minutes drive.

I'm sensitive to smoke and I definitely felt it when we arrived. It seemed that staff was smoking in the laundry room, because during our check-in smell became worse when a door to laundry was open.

The price and simplicity of it all was a bonus. No breakfast other than coffee and tea with cookies but breakfast wasn't offered when I booked. This place was cleaner, friendlier and up to date than another chain I stayed in on the start of my trip in North Bay and cost 40% more!!! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I guess I could stretch it by saying I had to wait 10 minutes at check in as the staff was doing laundry and didn't hear the bell....and I had to stretch that as it wasn't a problem for me.

Room size was great because we had a cat and it was important. The location was great for someone who travels from Montreal to Winnipeg (it's exactly in the middle)

We paid 10 dollars for our cat which is fair,but i think they have to tell the customer on the site.we received an e-mail which mentioned we don't have to pay extra money for pet, but in the hotel they did not give us the key without paying for our cat(which i said the price is fair)

Location was very convenient

The little tiny coffee counter in the lobby was a bit silly. Most of the time the coffee pot was empty and there was never any staff around. I would think a hotel as modern and nice as this one could have had a breakfast room. And there was no staff at or near the lobby and the bell service was not answered in a reasonable length of time. TV instructions were just awful and there was no staff to help out.

The location and rooms were very good. It was near the OPP station and a gas station which was excellent for our needs and safety. The remodel is done tastefully and the staff was very good. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. The beds were also very comfortable.

The exit door continually slammed shut near room 109. It could have been a soft close and tweaked so it didn't make so much noise when guests were leaving. I couldn't find a remote for the air conditioner though and there was tape covering the flap for the controls. The value for the dollar was excellent. I have stayed in many places in Wawa as I continually travel back and forth, and I will be staying here again.

I have stayed here before and will again. Friendly staff. All the amenities of a larger "chain" hotel. And much cheaper. Clean, comfortable, a cookie and a coffee when headed out the door. That's all I needed. A good night's sleep and back on the road.

The staff were super friendly and the room was very clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were also very accommodating in changing my reservation date as I booked the wrong night!

The only issue was the lack of internet in our room. Although we could get internet in the lobby and it is a powerful STARLINK system, we could not get it in our room. That meant we had to either sit at the front desk or use data, which was very disappointing. I would suggest that this could be easily fixed by moving the STARLINK receiver to cover the whole motel!

Clean and convenient being right on the highway

Security of the building was a little odd because the staff leaves after a certain hour and the front door to the building is left unlocked. Wasn't a huge concern though considering the hotel is right beside the police station.
