A beautifully refurbished motel, totally and completely remodeled. Spotless and on point. Landscaping and parking were beautiful. Rustic gazebo for people who smoke. Bedding was clean and spotless, beautifully decorated! Bathrooms were new, with beautiful spotless white tubs with comfortable shower pressure. Wife of proprietor is interior decorator! Furniture was new and rooms were spacious. Take a visit to this little gem...you'll be pleasantly surprised!

This is a clean, spacious room. We liked having a chesterfield and small dining table with chairs. It was quite comfortable. We liked that although it is on the highway, it was far enough off the highway to be quiet. A very pretty outdoor setting as well. We would recommend it if staying in the Wawa area and we would stay here again.

The only thing that might have made it more comfortable is an exhaust fan. Our showers in the morning created a lot of moisture in the room. Not a problem in the summer months when you can open a window, but a problem in the colder months.

Pictures show exactly what you get. Recently updated facility, some outdoor areas to utilize and friendly owner. Rooms are adequate in space for a small group or family. The table was great as we enjoyed a dinner in and then played games. The coffee area available to guests included a microwave, toaster oven and some items for purchase. Outdoor area had a grill for guests to use (we did not) and a gazebo with seating.

When one of us tried to shower it was cold water- but upon notifying the owner he “reset” the heater and we were good within 5 minutes.

The room is larger than most, clean, and comfortable. The decor is very nice. We always choose to stay here when we travel from Southwestern Ontario to Thunder Bay. The location off the highway is great, the sunset from the motel is beautiful, and the Kiniwabe Pines, a superb restaurant, is right across the road. It couldn't get any better.

The room is very nice, we can't really complain. About the only thing I can say is the towels are a bit scratchy - which is pretty minor, considering the positives.

Clean and tastefully decorated. Someone's put some money into upgrading this property and it shows. Comfy beds, lots of space and lovely surprises like a lavender sachet in the dresser drawer and extra pillows. Also a common area with a microwave and a kettle as well as tea and coffee, as well as a cooler with juice and pop offered on the honour system.

Single ply toilet paper.

If we ever visit Wawa, we'd definitely plan to stay here. The beds were very comfortable, very clean room, well-planned amenities that you'd only expect in a luxury, costly accommodation. We simply were delighted as we entered the room after a long ride.

Please consider installing ACs or, at least table/pedestal fans as during summer it takes a while to get the room temperature drop to a comfortable level. Also, the washroom can have an exhaust.

I love how super clean this entire place is. Smelled so good when I went in my room. Very clean. Cottage style decor. Very nice owners.

Bed wasn't very comfortable. I stayed here twice in 2 different rooms and both beds felt the same. Not awful, but need to be upgraded... other hotels I stayed in had better, softer beds.

This is an updated motel just off of the highway. The room was super cute, very clean, with lots of nice features. It is far enough off of the road that highway sounds were not a problem. The beds were comfortable.

We hit one of the few nights a year when the lack of air conditioning would be problematic. The room was overly warm and stuffy. A fan or ceiling fan at least would have helped make sleeping more comfortable.

This was one of the nicest, cleanest motels we have ever stayed at. Comfy beds, pillows, and linens. Rooms looked like they had been recently remodeled and the workmanship was excellent. Just a couple miles from Wawa town center, it was close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The Mystic sits on a hill top and has a beautiful view and the grounds were immaculate and planted beautifully.

The only thing missing from the room was air conditioning. The room was somewhat hot, even with windows open. Since it's Ontario, maybe air not necessary, but perhaps they could add a stand fan to each room to at least circulate the air on warmer nights.

The staff were so friendly. Love the decor! Gave it a very “homey” feel.

Water pressure. Not the fault of the motel. It’s the part of Ontario. Other hotels I’ve stayed at have the same issue.
