Excellent value for money, cosy and laidback, comfy room that was very clean, and really well located just off the highway. Would recommend to drive into the village and get something in the bakery, it’s an absolute gem.

We had a last-minute booking and we’re two tall guys so the bed was a bit small for the both of us, might take the twin beds room if available next time. Nevertheless, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Lots of free parking, really nice room for the money. Bar downstairs has a nice dinner menu. Steep staircase to get up to the room, maybe not good for an elderly person. Lots of television choices including Netflix.

I said this in my last review - no coffee maker in the room and no coffee in the lobby in the morning. Had to drive to a convenience store to get a couple cups of coffee. For me, nice hot coffee first thing in the morning is an absolute mustbb

It is mostly a bar with some rooms upstairs for guests. The bar was closed on the day I stayed (Wednesday), making it *feel like* the hotel was closed and that I shouldn't be there. :) There is nothing in or around the hotel.

No coffee maker in the room and no coffee available in the lobby in the morning because the bar did not open until noon or later. I absolutely have to have coffee in the morning so I had to drive to a convenience store to get a couple cups of coffee.

Vieux Bordeaux was a lovely unique stay along the Route Verte 5. The room was very clean. The bikes were locked up safely. We were in the middle of a storm so it was great to cozy in, eat pizza and listen to live music. The owners are a very talented couple.

Be prepared for some stairs.

The owners were spectacular. When we arrived the owner told us there was no air conditioning in the rooms and it was a hot day, he said if it was to hot for us he would refund our money in full. a little later I asked him and his wife if the kitchen was still open they said no it had closed 20 minutes before but they would be happy to make us a meal. They made us a smoked meat sandwich and it was excellent. I would rate this a 10 across the board, the only reason I wont is due to the lack of air conditioning. That day it was 28 degrees C outside. In the spring or fall it would be solid 10s across the board.

I liked the room, very clean and cozy. The evening we took a beer downstairs and we watched amazon prime included in the room.

We arrived the saturday evening and there was the karaoke night. Normally that would be cool, but we arrived tired and we just wanted to chill in our room. Unfortunately the music was a bit too loud and the bass vibrations were annoying.

Very nice staff, comfortable bed and a bar downstairs. Convenient location close to main road, but in a quiet place. Large free parking available. When we were here it was quiet and peaceful.

The only small drawback was lack of AC, but the hotel kindly sent us a message beforehand to warn us and give us options! (Stayed during a heatwave)

I like that the place was just 45 minutes away from Quebec City, therefore much less expensive than accommodations closer to the city. A very quiet place by the river. I especially like that this place is so clean. It is quaint and homey. This was my second booking: we were recognized and welcomed.

The bed side lamps are good for reading and general illumination near the bed, but I would have liked more opaque lampshades to keep the lighting localized.

We had lots of space in our room with the bonus of a small refrigerator, a little table and a comfortable couch. Everything was neat and clean and the view of the St. Lawrence River was pretty. We had a peaceful and comfortable sleep.

The rooms was a little warm when we arrived but there was a fan in the room that helped plus the air cooled down at night. No one was around in the morning when we left but we didn't plan to have breakfast here anyway.
