The house was very well situated (walking distance from the center of Saguenay and its scenery). The room was nicely proportionned for one person with personal fridge, breakfast and kettle as well as my own personal bathroom. The owners communicated a lot with me, and informed me in advance of the parking situation so I knew where to park and how to get to the house without looking for it too much.

It's a house so the moment the other occupants are too loud, you hear everything. This is not something the owners can change so it shouldn't be held against them however it's to take into account if you plan a trip with more than one person. The house is up on a hill and has steps so if you are not able to walk or have difficulty walking, this place may not be for you. The closest parking lot being 3 min down the hill it could be tough to get in the house for you.

Although we didn't get to the apartment until 21:30, we found it easily. The owner warned us to park in front of the cathedral nearby. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. We booked for 4 adults. The room had a small double bed (queen bad?) and a sofa, under which another bed could be pulled out. There was also a vending machine and a refrigerator in the room, but we didn't use them because we only slept for one night. The bathroom was incredibly spacious, with a spa bath, shower and two sinks. There was plenty of liquid soap and shampoo available. There were also enough towels.

There is no parking next to the apartment, you can park at the cathedral. The pull-out bed is completely on the floor. You can hear the footsteps and noise of the residents above the apartments. Written communication by the owner was in French, which is annoying for us who do not speak this language.

This little place was a hidden gem I am so glad to have discovered in Chicoutimi. After some unfortunate events, I found myself alone in the city without a place to sleep for the night. I was searching for a room available nearby when I came across this quaint and inexpensive advert! When I arrived, it was pretty straight forward and I was able to find my room fairly quickly. The photos do not lie; this place is absolutely adorable, clean, and incredibly well-decorated. I was so impressed by the Balcon Blanc for charging such a reasonable and fair price, for a room and private bathroom which exceeds most chain hotel standards. Absolutely loved my stay and hope to be back soon! Merci Anyssée et Simon :)

As I arrived quite late in the evening, it was a bit difficult to identify which home was the hotel. Not many street lights and there weren't any large or eye-catching signs. I also found it difficult to figure out which door to enter to access the hotel rather than the private residence. Additionally, the private residence was unlocked, which caused more confusion as I thought I was in the correct part of the building (but was not!). Other than that, everything was wonderful!

It is within walking distance of the hospital. There are lots of windows and lots of white in the apartment.

We almost weren't able to use the oven to cook the food we had brought for supper because the button to heat the oven is broken.

The room was very comfortable and clean!

The parking was a problem because of snow! My son who was renting the apartment shovelled the parking as much as he could! He also cleaned the path to my room! Too many csrs for such a small space!

I liked everything. The location, the decoration of the apartment, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness. there was a lot of ameneties too (washer, great kitchen, Aircon, etc.) It was a great stay. 10/10 would recommend

The comfort of the bed and bedding... exceptional! Would've loved to bring it all home!!❤️❤️

The air conditioning remote also turned the tv on...confusing lollwould have lived to have our own balcony attached to our room but since we were there only one night it was ok.

This place is adorable and in a great location. Pretty straightforward check-in with a smart lock. Everything was clean and well-kept. The room had everything we needed and we absolutely loved our private bathroom :)

Easy to access, spacious, nicely decorated, clean, well equipped, recycling and compost bins, home information/ city guide with contact information if needed.

Everything was perfect, thanks for the nice stay! Easy to find, well located, clean with all facilities (fridge, oven, micro wave, caffe maker etc), simple checkin with a smart lock, nothing to say but enjoy your stat
