Breakfast included was a daily $15 coupon a Resto Roberto. Restaurant is ok, with large portions, very busy, and with limited staff. Rooms are in a large house, with a large kitchen, including a fridge to store your food when you are in for a few days or during transit to another location. Great patio overseeing the marina and river. All is extremely clean, quiet, and with great views on Saguenay River. Very close to downtown and all local tourist attractions.

Room had limited amount of electrical outlets and slanted ceiling (room was on 2nd floor). Owner also manages a private marina abutant to the house. It would have been great to be able to rent bikes, canoes, kayaks at this location.

Great set up of rooms in the house and shared kitchen. We had a huge bathroom! Loved the sound of the river as we were falling asleep.

We are grateful for the breakfast coupons but just a heads up that the restaurant is 1 km up a HUGE hill to walk to and while we had the coupons, we still had to pay tip, tax and whatever extra that wasn’t covered.

I am so happy we stayed here on our trip. They accommodated our late check-in and were very communicative. The room was clean, comfortable and worth the price. The back patio was beautiful and the entire property is relaxing and peaceful!

The room was beautiful, and there is a large, well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals which is a great amenity. There is also a big dining room and another shared living room.

The breakfast is not served at the hotel; instead, a coupon to get breakfast at a restaurant up the street is provided. This was fine, and we enjoyed a nice breakfast there, but I'd hoped to eat at the lovely river side patio at Le Matelot.

Place was spotless. A nice mix of private and shared amenities. Located at a beautiful marina; the view was spectacular from the deck.
