Location is a little bit off touristic route Breakfast was a little too simple. It was good, but nothing exceptional (perhaps because of the winter season, not many people) Some parts of the residence require a little bit of "love".

The location is amazing. Al rooms are in and old monastary. The owners do everything to make you feel at home. A great link with local products (soap, great tea, ….). There is a beautifull sitting area and a nice outdoor area. A bonus is the big kitchen where you can cook your meal. Breakfast was overwhelming! A bonus was the fact we could do some laundry. There is a public beach at 10’ drive, a supermarket across the street and for the thrillseekers … H2O adventure rafting is a great experience at just 5’ driving.

You share the bathroom with the other rooms but that is mainly how the building is build.

What a fabulous idea to reutilize an old monastery into a peaceful location. We stayed at the Maison Zacharie on our way back to the south shore of Montreal. The whole building and garden are great, we were able to prepare our dinner in the gigantic kitchen and store our food in the commercial grade refrigerator. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a clean shared shower and bathroom.

The owners, their vibes and their constant and impressive support to your slight needs 🙏🏻, they really went Above and Betond to made me feel amazing after a horrible day. I felt home and very emotional by how much they cared 🙏🏻🥰

Sometimes we had to queue to shower at rush hours… but this is very much expected when u take shared bathroom option :).

Amazing place. The room was very cozy and private bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. Very nice common area downstairs with lots of space and good breakfast as well. Host has been very helpful with our late check-in.

Loved the ambience. The owners have kept some of the decor from the previous use by the Redemptorist brothers but have also made a comfortable place.

Could have used better lighting in our bedroom.

Nice community approach where we have a chance to exchange with other renters. It's an old convent that was transformed into a hotel. Nice touch!
