The view and location are amazing. But if you book the room from booking, they will not upgrade your room if you pay extra and this makes me very sad, this hotel can be the best hotel with a better management.I love the motor boat and the person who was responsible for these facilities, Mr. Cloud, left us a lasting memory with her good manners, energy, and beautiful smile.

I did not like the people at the reception desk at all, otherwise these people can be as influential as the hotel itself and create a memorable memory. First of all, a genuine smile with an effort to show you that your request is important. Yes, I was very interested to have a better room on two different days and also we were a big group by booking several rooms, each of us requested a better room on our own, none of us were given an option. I spent a year in different hotels and I know what good service means. In my opinion, spending money on training a few receptionists is equal to spending money on renovating the entire hotel. I wish this hotel would be considered.

Fantastic hotel built with huge pine loggs and full of trophies from canadian animals. You really have the impression to arrive in a trapper's treasure house. Very good food for such a remote location, although quite pricey. Very big room (28 m2) for 2 people. Free wifi in the room.

No full board package proposed on Booking.com. As you are far away from any restaurants, having to pay for breafast, lunch and dinner will cost you 180-200$ per day for 2 people. The bubble baths are only outdoors and you have to face the freezing cold to get in and out of the water.

We were supposed to get a room with a refrigerator in it, but our original room assignment had none. The staff immediately amended the situation and we received an upgraded room at no charge. Excellence in service!

Unfortunately the elevator was down for repairs.

At arrival, having also a booking from their site to benefit package for 1 night, we have been upgraded for the full duration of the stay. Best suite 400, with 360 view on the lake Sacacomie! The place is beautiful with a lot of activities, a good restaurant and a bar. The room was very clean, with a large bathroom and jacuzzi. Great for 4. The beds were comfy in king size and good pillows.

very nice atmosphere and natural setting. very spacious room with large balcony with superb view. All the free extras down at the beach on the lake (kayaks, canoes, paddle board) as well as very helpful and friendly staff there. multiplicity of trails from the hotel.

missed air conditioning in the room but got used to fan in the end. There was a nice coffee machine in the room but as there is no room servicing you have to ask for capsules each day. Enjoyed a number of the trails which were quite well signposted but map provided a bit iffy. Unfortunately a buffet was the only option in the restaurant at night during our stay and that would have been a bit too pricey for us.

Great countryside location. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Having the ability to use the lake facilities within the overall cost was a bonus. The evening meal (excellent), breakfast and spa package worked really well for our short stay.

The surroundings, the facilities, the private beach, the view, the hotel design, the possibility to rent a kayak for free and enjoy the lake.

The only accessible pool for children is inside. Food was quite expensive for an average quality. No vegetarian option at lunch.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. The lake is breathtaking.

The room was not clean perfectly. The bathroom was way too small and uncomfortable to be in. Staff was so so.

I was very pleased to see how clean and well maintained the property was. Linens were impeccable. Our room was very quiet which is great. I see that corners were not cut even though we're still in a pandemic, they have maintained their high standards. We also stayed here four years ago for spring break and we were very happy back then as well. We really enjoyed doing dogsledding as a family. My husband and son did skidooing and they had a great time also. Staff all around are very professional and willing to please.

The restrictions to access the pool. I know they are in place because of the pandemic however, each time we'd call to book to use the pool the spa would never pick up the phone nor return messages.

The view from the hotel terrace is absolutely stunning. The hiking trails and canoeing on the lake (but take plenty of insect repellent if visiting in the summer as I was eaten alive!). The pool and outdoor jacuzzis. Friendly staff

On two occasions the Activity Centre was unmanned during its stated opening hours and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to appear, with no way of contacting anyone or alerting staff that we were there
