Excellent, very kind hosts. At breakfast you sit together with the other guests, travelers. It was marvelous to chat. The house is historic and refurbished with a lot of love to detail. As it has max 4 rooms all is very familiar in a very positive way. Nice experience! Very recomendable. Excellent alternative to a hotel...well located to go to La Mauricie or Trois Rivieres.

As it is a historic building, it is simply not as soundproof as a modern hotel buildings and from time to time you might hear a step or rarely talking from others. But that is negligible. The overall experience is excellent!

Central location and parking which is great. The home is very unique-- you are staying in history! Every attention to detail and the love behind it is outstanding in this B&B! The hostess and her husband are so GRACIOUS,generous, and kind. IT was the perfect place to stay and they were so helpful in letting me practice my french! Isabelle recommended a FABULOUS restaurant down the street, which was spectacular La Bezotte. It's worth going to this small town just for the restaurant! I've already told several friends about the B&B, and La Bezotte. This is a perfect half-way point if travelling from Ottawa to Charlevoix/Tadoussac. And I don't have enough words to describe the breakfast!! Above and beyond. Everything SO DELICIOUS! I was stuffed ! and fresh espresso coffee! And, Isabelle's homemade preserves are out of this world. ( the marmalade!!best ever!) Stay at this place!!! you will be delighted!

Lovely historic property run by a delightful, friendly local couple. Made us feel very much at home. Great home made breakfast with eggs from the chickens in the yard!

As an older property, facilities could not be to modern standard eg shared bathroom though we found it fine for an overnight stop.

Nice old historic home built in about 1780. I believe our hosts said it was the first home built in Yamachiche which was more of a center for commerce at that time. Very interesting to see the construction details from that period. Wonderful hosts who served an excellent breakfast. There is a small restaurant just a few doors down that serves very fine gourmet food for lunch and dinner. Yamachiche is an excellent transient point if you are touring around the Gaspe peninsula. This was our third stay with Isabella and John and we look forward to coming back if we are ever able to visit this area again.

The house was beautiful, old, charming full of antiquities and an eclectic mix of furniture . The wood was amazing throughout. Isabelle, Jean and Billie were fab hosts, breakfast was lovely.

Very nice guesthouse with four or five rooms. Owned by a very nice couple, served a lovely breakfast.

It was well suited to our needs, but it is probably not a good option if you have trouble walking in stairs.

Absolutely beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored. Everything was very clean, beautifully decorated to fit the age of the house with antiques, and check in was very easy. We were greeted by the hostess who explained all we needed to know. She made us an incredible breakfast the next morning and was a charming, kind person.

The home is beautiful and the hosts were welcoming yet provided us privacy. The room was charming and had extra little touches (soaps, cold water and milk for coffee/tea) to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional (we especially enjoyed the coffee and cappuccino!) We would highly recommend this place and would visit again!

This is a well restored property with lots of antique items in the lobby. The hosts, Isabelle and Jean, were very welcoming and made everything possible to feel us staying home. The room was very clean and lots of nice home décor. The breakfast was fantastic based on produce grown by the hosts. There was a roomy parking lot (in the backyard for 4 cars). We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop again in our next trip to Quebec. That was another example of great Quebec hospitality and just a few minutes drive from a major highway.

The road by the property was quite busy, but it did not bother us. Plus, the hosts provided some ear plugs for customers sensitive to outside noise. If the windows are closed, the noise is minimal.
