The location was fantastic. We were a group of 12, each with their preferences for food & activities. The location allowed many to go different directions at the same time, not all needing a ride somewhere. We used 5 rooms, 3 on the second floor and two on the third. This worked out well, allowing easy movement as required between them. We did not end up partaking in any of the breakfasts there.

We were able to view several of the rooms and it appeared the hotel was getting a slow upgrade. Several of our 5 rooms were recently painted. Ours was not. We were ok with that, but it did need it. Also, our window curtains were barely holding the light out as several of the hooks were missing. Of our 5 rooms, at least two mini fridges were not very usable. One had been unplugged upon arrival so it smelled terrible, even tho it was empty. The second room, the fridge froze everything, even after defrosting it. When we checked in at 5:30 pm, we only got one room key per room, even tho there were two adults in 4 of the rooms. The following day, upon request, we were given a second key to each room.

The staff are very helpful, especially the young lad who works nights. Very helpful in many ways, and helps out when he's needed mostly. He is definitely a key asset to the hotel team among many of the other staff. Bed I slept in was very comfortable on my back. Room was a good size. Also would say the woman who works front desk during the day and the fellow with the baseball cap were also helpful.

Was going through the tv channels and couldn't find much too watch. Good too have more selections like family/cartoon channels in case families stay there, movie stations, and folks like myself who love wrestling.

The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was a stand out for me. The chef was great and so professional. He made everyone's breakfast time special. The service he gave was like being in a 5 star hotel.

The rooms were a bit outdated but given the price, they all had a full bath and overhead shower, had tvs and wifi and very comfy beds and pillows. So overall I reckon good value for money

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was cool to see how international the staff are. We had a great breakfast and visit with the owner, a Chilean man. The price was great and the room, other than the reported issue below, was comfortable. We stayed here on our way to Anchorage, then again on our way back the next week.

On the first night, the 3rd floor was very warm, as if the heat was stuck on. The young men from the front desk brought us a portable AC and extra fan and worked on our room AC for over 30 minutes. It was late but they were dedicated! This service recovery effort is what made it easy to stay again on our return.

Looks like a fire hazard in the making, extension cords being used to plug in several things and if needing the fan you need to unplug something to be able to use it, bathroom taps need replacing, needs work especially for the price you charge.

Very kind and customer friendly service in the hotel reception. The hotel and our room were very clean. Excellent breakfasts prepared by fantastic Mr Paco and his lovely wife. Absolutely best omelettes we enjoyed in the whole Yukon . Extraordinary kind and professional service of the whole staff. Thank you and welcome to Finland any day!

No negative comments

It's an older place, and it looks it. But it was clean, quiet, and very affordable. What really stood out though was how exceptionally friendly and accommodating the staff were. I have been treated much less well at hotels twice the price. They genuinely seemed to care that I was satisfied. And I was.

A great hotel in a great location! In-floor heating, rooms were clean and well-kept, no smells whatsoever, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Easily walkable to all major areas in Whitehorse.

Friendly and attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Had a place for us to park a trailer and is a pet friendly establishment.

Needs updating - property is under new management and the improvements to the property are apparently in process.

The property was very well situated, close to several restaurants, and things to do. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

While the hotel was clean and safe, it really could use some upgrades😀
