Excellent breakfast and very nice personale. The hotel is very cozy and has nice self-service coffee lounge. The pool was refressing for the hot weather in the area with a nice honesty bar having cool beverages of high quality drinks. The people at the reception always help with any issue that arose, it seems this is part of the mission-vission statements of the company. I definitely recommend it!

Too few connectivity alternatives to the town center. Would recommend to have a car or a bike. Some cabs would be able to pick you up and drop you off at the hotel at limited hours. Some tour services wouldn't pick/drop you up/off at the hotel.

The place is amazing, with all the comfort you can expect. The rooms are in fact small individual luxury houses. The staff is highly friendly and helpful. It is located 5min by car from the city center, so you need a car but it’s very easy to drive to the center and park so not a problem at all. It is very quiet, great for couples and nature lovers. Breakfast is simple but more than enough, the swimming pool is very nice too. I would definitely go back there if I go to the Atacama desert again.

Nothing, everything was great

The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The shower is amazing with great water pressure and the beds are super comfortable. The staff are so nice and even uncovered the pool for us after a long day. Natalie was so helpful and essentially helped us plan our whole trip! She absolutely made the place! They even packed us a breakfast when we had an early start one day and helped arrange a private driver within 24 hours. Overall an amazing stay and highly recommend to others!

Definitely need a car to get here but the remoteness adds to its beauty. Could have some lunch / afternoon tapas options so you don’t have to go back into town

The impeccable hospitality of Natalia which you hardly find in five star luxury hotels. A true master of making you feel welcome and at home.

There are two things that stand out- the facilities and the staff. Our room was very well appointed, clean, and energy efficient. Everything worked, and we were lacking nothing. Similarly, all of the common areas were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast room is cozy and bright. The breakfast is great. The entire place has a consistent, harmonious theme. Well designed, well made, and well maintained. But maybe the best aspect is the staff. Everyone was warm and friendly. They were patient with my Spanish (and no doubt, they speak beautiful English too). They offered great restaurant suggestions, and always asked about our activities for the day to help plan for our needs, like packing a "to go" breakfast or lunch. The staff are just genuine and service oriented, always one step ahead. I highly recommend Lodge Quelana.

Nothing. We liked everything! Just be aware, if you are without a car, the lodge is located about an hour walk outside of SPdA. But they can refer a taxi service for you that is cheap and friendly. We even walked it several times and enjoyed the walk (on a small road off the main road), but undoubtedly the feasibility of the walk depends on the season and temps.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host Natalia went out of her way to ensure we were at home. She is one shop stop for everything you want to know about San Pedro/Atacama - which restaurants to go, best tourist spots, how to book tickets etc. she even made us a to-go snack box when we had to leave early for a site visit and missed our breakfast.

Staff: super professional and attentive. Many thanks to Paola, Marcia and Nadja (from the breakfast service) who made our stay much more nice. Room: spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean. Bathroom: shower is very relaxing, with high pressure hot water. Breakfast: Very tasty and had a good selection of items (my wife is lactose intolerant and they were able to provide lactose-free milk and yogurt upon request). It starts at 7:30am, but if you are heading out early to visit the sights, just let the staff know the day before and they will provide you with a bag with some breakfast items. Parking: you can park your car with no extra cost. Location: it is about 4km from downtown so you can reach Quelana by driving along Ruta 23 or with with a shuttle service. It would be great to have more signs on the road indicating where Quelana is. Check out is at 12pm but we planned to leave the city after 8pm, as we were going to visit the Altiplanic Lagoons, so our luggage was left in a locker. We came back to Quelana Lodge about 7pm and showered in a bathroom (very clean) next to the pool. All at no additional cost. We would definitely stay at Quelana again!

Absolutely everything was great...the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lodge provides grest instructions including a video so property is easy to find. See only negative comment below.

We chose this property out of town for better night sky viewing but too many lights. They need to use red lights so that you can still view the night sky.

Great hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. If you are driving, it is a great place to stay (just a few minutes from the center of San Pedro and away from the crowds and noise). But if you don't plan on renting a car, I think a hotel closer to the center might be a better option, although there are taxis there (we didn't use them). Simple but very good breakfast and comfortable facilities. A great and comfortable place to stay and relax after walking all day in the magnificent desert landscapes.

I think for the distance you can’t go on foot to the city center, though this was already known (and chosen) by us. Unless you intend to have dinner late you shouldn’t have any kind of inconvenience.

We absolutely loved our 6 day stay. The lodge is quaint and only about 10 minutes from the center. We were incredibly well taken care of, from suggestions on what to do when we arrived, to packed breakfast when we had early tours. The room was impecable too! Would definitely recommend this lodge! Also, we were happy we had a car (4x4 is recommended if you want to do some sites without a tour). Highly recommend renting a car and have the flexibility of moving around instead of paying for every tour.
