I initially booked the hotel for just one night, but ended up staying for four. My room has been generous upgraded. I was placed on the top floor, where I enjoyed an amazing view of the city. The hotel team provided excellent service throughout my stay, and special thanks go to Jennifer in the Executive Lounge. She kindly helped me print over 80 pages of documents, which saved me so much time. She has also seamlessly arranged my prolonged stay with everything thing I needed, including a generous late check-out, even before I'd thought to ask for it. Another highlight I absolutely loved about this hotel is that it practically shares an entrance with the Metropark Lido Hotel, which boasts one of Beijing’s oldest Western-style lobbies. This lobby area is a true gem, housing several excellent Chinese and Western restaurants as well as souvenir shops. By walking through it, you’ll reach a quiet, cozy bar and restaurant district tucked away in a charming corner of the downtown area. Best of all, you can explore all these spots without leaving the hotel area nor dealing with Beijing’s usual traffic hassles, making it perfect for enjoying with family and friends.

While the hotel room’s facilities feel a bit dated, the exceptional value it offers makes it still a great place to stay.

Our family had a wonderful experience staying at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido, an IHG Hotel. The staff was accommodating and warm, especially Mrs. Wang Hai Li, who was very patient in answering all our queries and kindly upgraded our standard king room to a one-bedroom suite with a view of the bath for free. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The location was very good and easily accessible to the metro and international airport. There are many good restaurants nearby. We would come back to this hotel again.

Laundry prices were pretty expensive. Couldve bought a new tshirt for the price of what they ask just to wash it.

The staff at the front desk and the breakfast restaurant were very friendly accommodating and courteous. They went out of their way to help us. Thank you for the service.

The food stations could use some reorganization. Except for the cook to order eggs, most of the hot food items were at best room temperature and some out right cold! The cappuccino machine was also making warm instead of Hot beverages. I had to ask the waitress to microwave my coffee.

Loved the hotel, with the pool sauna and steam room. The bedroom was huge with an amazing bathroom and huge bed. Great room service too.

Breakfast was lovely with a lot of options but was quite a lot of money for around £17 a day

When we checked in at 2am, we couldn’t get a double room. However, Ted on reception was excellent and gave us a great solution. Ted gave great customer service and made our stay here a great experience.

Almost all. After 4:30 - 7pm, Hotel proved good food in front of the hotel. I like it very much. Really value of money.

A bit about wifi

The swimming pool. The room had a nice balcony area useful for parents. Breakfast buffet pretty good

The clock music system in the room was broken. No time showing. Audio in didnt work and remote battery was flat. Additionally the blackout curtains couldnt be fully shut. Also due to some poor wiring the nightlight could not be fully turned off. The kids pool was also not so clean

Room is spacious and tidy.

Smell of cigarette inside so-called non smoking room. Staff explained that it was hard to control behavior of individual customer without self discipline.

Breakfast buffet and room service options were excellent. Clean comfortable rooms, speedy elevators.

Wi-fi was very slow but then probably not their fault.
