There are several restaurants, cafes and eateries within and around the hotel, so you are in no trouble finding food at any time of the day if your booking is w/o breakfast or full board. The indoors swimming pool is a nice facility, open from as early as 6am until 11pm, towels, swimming caps are provided on the spot, courtesy of the hotel. The pool itself is tiny (15m on the outside) but it is mostly void of people so you can swim diagonally to get more mileage out of it. After a day of heavy duty sightseeing a foot massage is a blessing, there is a parlour on the premises, a bit on the pricy side though, but it is worth every penny. The hotel houses a number of other private entrepreneurs and the tea shop might be worth a visit. I am not doing this lengthy review mind you in the hope of any reimbursement, but because I still have a jet leg and find nothing else to do in the middle of the night, thank you very much 😊

Public transport - the nearest metro station is at least 10 minutes walk away and on the double too! As for the buses, good luck figuring them out and managing the ride on them. The airport metro line does NOT stop anywhere near the hotel unfortunately, so getting here by the tube from the airport is not worth the hassle. (The cabs however, are reliable and affordable - the roughly half an hour ride to and from the airport clocks in at around 60RMB depending on the traffic.)

Comfortable, near metro, staff can speak some english (which is rare in China). My room was very spacious and had all amenities you may need.

Just a warning: they took quite a big upfront deposit. It was returned, but I failed to see any warnings about it before, so consider this your warning :)

Room- Very comfortable, with single beds big enough to fit two persons, with a nice sitting area, a spacious bathroom and all the toiletries and other accessories included. The hygiene is at a very high level. Location- the hotel is some 10 minutes walk from the closest metro station, Jiangtai station, and to reach the city center (the area around the Tiananmen square), it takes about 30-40min at least with all the walks and transfers. The area around the hotel is quiet, with many small, local shops and restaurants. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast- the food was fresh and well prepared, there were many meals from Chinese cuisine, but there were continental meals as well (pastry, fruit, eggs, various stuff to make sandwiches, and similar)

The staff in the hotel speaks English, but very limited. Once you find a stuff member with better English skills, remember their name and face, you will need them!

Suprisingly nice, very professional hotel in the outskirts of Beijing! Personnel os very helpful, flexible even on fulfilling any extra request. The hotel has numerous, here not mentioned services auch as ATM, bank center, superb restaurant, hairdresser, concierge services, etc. Coffee, tea, water welcome package. Very underrated here, unexplained, why! Many shops in the close neighborhood, plus interesting cheap and attractive chinese hot-pot restaurant as well. Room is perfect, spacius as well the beds ( Double King)

Everything was fine. Eventually, besides a series of mood lights a stronger main light beam in the room ceiling could be mounted.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Due to traveling, I've seen lots of hotels in my life. Why does the Metro Lido standout? The staff! I love when people working at the hotel care about the guests! Literally 24 hours, even when I was going outside for a cigarette at night, the staff at the reception was asking if I needed a help! Some of them speaks good ENG, some of them can translate via Apps and it's quite easy to communicate with them! They make quite strong americano and also they have a restaurant on the 1st floor, they make really good bolognese! Amazing! There is a metro station at 8 min walk from the hotel. Place is very quiet, so you will sleep peacefully. Room was quite big for my expectations! During the 2nd day, the cleaning team came and wanted to clean but I said it was clean already, they were really sweet and asked me if there was even one part of the room dirty so they could clean it! Absolutely perfect experience! Thank you! PS. There are shops opposite side of the hotel, so you'll buy anything you want in just few minutes!

Hotel is very good to find, room was very comfortable and all the amendities are excelent, only sad that the sauna is not mixed (so there is a seperate male and female sauna) and the pool needs a swimming cap that they cant provide, so we had to take a taxi (didi) to Wallmart (30min) and purchase them. The Hotel is close to some interesting tourist locations like ie 798 Art zone, and the Hotel is next to some other hotels, it has it's own bank and Starbuck among others. It is also on a street where you can find a night supermarket and some smaller food places, excellent vibe at night and absolute safe feeling.

Seperate sauna / steamroom, swimming caps should be available at the hotel.

Beds are very comfy, cleaning ladies were very helpful and friendly. A bit dated Bathroom was functional. good size of room. Good breakfast. Very touching a front desk staff Brought me a yummy birthday cake, Thank you very much.

Booked a garden view room but ended up with a “ car park view” room, I had to phone the duty manager to get my room changed.

I stayed in room 2309 (19 April to 23 April). - The room cleaner (she was called Xue? ) was very friendly and professional! Very happy with her work! - The restaurant staff was also very friendly and professional! - The location of the hotel was excellent.

- I think the room should be equipped with a proper desk. - The variety of food at breakfast was good, but the quality could be improved further.

Spacious room with twin beds each about 120 cm wide. Beautiful pool, recently renovated sauna area. Great value breakfast at 88 CNY/person or even less depending on the booking. Bank of China branch and Starbucks at the back, and beyond that a small supermarket with a great choice of useful Chinese and western foodstuff and necessities. And it's the starting point of Beijing Hikers' excursions to the "Wild" Great Wall!

Bit of a musty smell in some areas, and it shows that the hotel has been designed quite a while ago, but there are a number of updates and renovations. The deli has lost all its attraction over the lockdown, now sells mainly shrink wrapped stuff.

Jacuzzi in the spa area is an experience...38-40 degrees celcius! The room is large and clean, the bed comfortable.

It's quite a walk if you go there by public transport, the nearest metro is 20 minutes walk. Staff needs more training, so the check-in can go faster. They were considering to ask for a deposit, which is annoying and unnecessary, since the booking is made via booking.com, where all details are known.
