Construction work, Person not nice and not english speaking at all. Doors were not locking properly so I was scared. And I payd more than booking proce becuase they said so!

Front Desk staff did hot speak any English and very reluctant to help.

What I liked is that the hotel is very close to the railway station that easily accessible from the Daxing (PKX) airport. Though the entrance of the hotel was only clearly recognizable from across the street, it made a decent impression. Due to its location, there are many little Chines restaurants available, but also major American fastfood restaurants, like McD and KFC.

The room was rather small and the furniture was quite old. The bathroom was small, but adequate. I only stayed there one night on my way to my final destination Huaihua. Since I was tired from the flight I didn't make a big fuss. I would not have wanted to stay there for an extended amount of time. The receptionists didn't speak any English, and normally that would not have been a problem, but unfortunately the Google Translate app was blocked, and the downloaded Chinese dictionary did not provide sufficient support. Two things you need to be aware of: 1) They are renovating the establishment, which means that they start drilling around 07:30/07:45 AM. I don't know how long the renovation will go on. 2) The numbering of the rooms is quite confusing, lots of corridors and the arrows supposedly pointing you in the right direction are sometimes confusing. Once you found your room, pay attention and note 'markings' when you go back to the elevator. This will help you to find your way back to your room when you return.

The hotel is very badly maintained, mody smells in every room, cracked, chipped, fitting and floorboards, carpet is so dark you can just work out the original colours,. The air conditioning meter is a pure decoration as it is all centrally controlled, my initial room has no window-can barely breath so upgrade to 1 with window, a 1/3 more to the price. This 2nd one 's heating stopped around 7pm while I had a full day's work to ploung on. Had to switch room, then found this room has no desk. Crouched on bedside table for a working day before switched for the 4th time in 2 days. This 1 appeared standard except space for the mini fridge was empty. Air conditioning was also faked, this room has a constant temperature SET at 28 C. I was toasted day or night-no option to switch off air conditioner. One other standard or 2 in this hotel are the leaking kettles and the tap fittings at the wrong space which make access to cold water impossible.

Change management and maintenance team

When I arrived for check-in in, they said the booking side has cancelled it. They sold it to another traveller who came to the front, not by online. Made me very confused. I had to find another hotel with my big baggage. It's really unpleasant. Unbelievable.
