Beautiful views, decoration of the hotel is just stunning. All the extras like special shampoo for my daughter, her only little robe and slippers made her very happy! Views were incredible! The concierge were very helpful getting cars for us as a family of 5, so kind. The gym was brilliant and kids loved the table tennis. Hotel allowed us to check out a little later which was good as we had a very late flight. I would recommend this hotel for families if you don’t mind getting the subway or taxis. The swimming pool and leisure access were great and a few nice places to eat on the attached shopping centre. Also a 7/11 for an ice cream or juice. For example, a car to the summer palace was only £8 and that was our furthest trip.

The cost of a massage seemed to be about £200 which I felt was very expensive. I never found the female jacuzzi area, no one understood what I was looking for I don’t think which was a shame as my husband loved the male spa. Location is a bit far from tourist attractions but the taxis are very reasonable so not a big deal.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Beijing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I booked all my hotels through Booking.com. I chose JEN Beijing by Shangri-La because it’s located in the CBD area, just about a 35-minute drive from the airport. The hotel is part of the fully integrated China World Complex, which includes premium malls, offices, and restaurants. One of the highlights of my stay was the airport pickup service organized by the hotel. This was especially important for a first-time visitor. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I was greeted by a dedicated airport butler (Kiki), who helped me get through all arrival formalities in just 15 minutes. She collected my luggage and escorted me directly to the limousine provided by the hotel. The arrival assistance, including help with completing the arrival card, was absolutely first-class. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the front desk has English-speaking managers, which made communication easy. I had booked the room one day in advance, so I was able to check in immediately without waiting until the standard 2 PM check-in time. All the major attractions are within walking distance, and there's even direct access to China World Mall from the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfasts were excellent and offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. There are also two great restaurants in the hotel. My room was beautiful, with a stunning view of the CCTV Headquarters (locally known as “the Pants” 😊). There’s free Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool, a spa, and many other amenities that make you feel at home and not want to leave. A deposit was held on my card at check-in but was refunded within two days after my stay. I truly enjoyed everything and highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Beijing.

Everything was excellent!

+We had a room on the 16th floor with a fantastic view of the CCTV building. +the size of the room was perfect / big bedroom with extra sofa and Nespresso station +We would especially like to highlight that there was a fresh fruit basket in the room every day. This is not something to be taken for granted, and that's why we want to emphasize it. +The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a subway station just a short walk away. The airport (PEK) can be reached easily and affordably by taxi in just under 50 minutes. The adjoining shopping mall offers a variety of dining options, ranging from budget-friendly to high-end restaurants to suit every taste. Additionally, the terrace of the shopping mall provides a great view of the CCTV building and the growing skyline.

-The front desk staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, we found that even in English, communication about basic matters was quite difficult. For a hotel of this class, that is rather unusual. The hotel management should definitely work on this. (For example, we had no communication issues at all at The Langham in Shanghai.)

It's a top class hotel, nothing to complain about. Staff were friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade when we arrived and the room was really nice. The view was spectacular from the 22nd floor facing the CCTV building. The buffet restaurant had a really good selection of food, and even had a malatang station (you select meat and veges and a chef cooks it for you). The hotel is above a really large mall, but it's all fancy expensive stuff. There is a really fancy chocolate shop maybe 4 times more expensive than NZ! The mall leads directly to a train station, which was very convenient for getting around.

Love the modern and hip facilities of the hotel. Our room had an insane view of Beijing CBD! We had this staycation for my husband's birthday and the staff were truly thoughtful. They gave him a tiramisu birthday cake with a couple of beers from the hotel pub, Beersmith. Thank you! Housekeeping staff were really warm and friendly. Also, love the fact that the hotel was connected to China World Mall and had direct access to the mall, so we were able to explore it. Love the buffet breakfast and dinner with their wide variety of Asian and Western food choices. Thank you, Hotel Jen!

Had to check in by myself while my husband and daughter grabbed lunch at Beersmith (the pub located right beside the hotel lobby). The front desk staff asked to see my husband and daughter since they will be staying in the room with me. I told her that they were still finishing their lunch and will be right over when they're done. She still insisted that they have to come to the front desk right then and there because she needs to see them even if I already told her that they're still finishing their lunch and will be coming right over when they're done. I found it a bit rude and had to ask my husband to just have their lunch packed for take out and join me at the front desk. Other than that minor incident, we enjoyed our entire stay in the hotel.

The room is just perfect, extremely comfortable bed, incredible shower, amazing view! Everything! We stayed 6 nights and didn’t want our trip to end! We opted for the half board package which included breakfast and dinner, the breakfast was great and had many options to choose from between western or asian! The dinner was more asian oriented but many tasty options as well :) Also the other amenities such as coworking and gym were incredible, we were working remotely so it was an amazing plus! We would love to stay here again!

If you are planning to do many touristic things, it may be a bit far from the main places to visit. The traffic in Beijing is quite chaotic so it can be overwhelming to move around if you are not using the subway

Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is incredible - directly opposite the CCTV building and within easy reach of all major attractions via the metro. The gym is one of the biggest and best hotel gyms I’ve used. Spotlessly clean with everything you could ever need for a great workout. The bar is excellent with great food and drink choices. The staff are great and there is live music and DJ’s at night. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and quiet with really great beds and amenities. Overall - can’t fault it!

Had an amazing pool and gym set up and also a WeWorks floor for meetings which was great. The Breakfast Buffet was great also so it had everything I needed for a business trip on steroids plus great location attached to a Mall for more food and shopping options. Staff were amazing from the front desk when I thought I had lost my wallet to the gym and pool team who were always very helpful. Bright modern hotel with ShangriLa quality only issue is we need more of these hotels made business travel a Joy at Jen!

There are not more of these in all major cities I work in!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Beijing. The location is excellent—just a short walk from two metro stations—making it very convenient to explore the city center. The room was very clean and modern, with an amazing view, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both local and international options. The gym and swimming pool were modern, clean, and well-equipped. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would gladly choose this hotel again for future visits.

This was the best hotel i have stayed in years, location is very good; from here you can easily take a taxi (very cheap) to go and admire the most important spots in Beijing. Everiday cleaning, water and even fruits! The breakfast was amazing, even my picky toddler loved it. And of course the view to the CCTV was amazing. The staff was all the time very helpfull even with making some reservations for the tourist spots. Love from Romania!
