The staff was awesome, they helped us with so many questions and they really tried to help us in depth, they did not just give us quick answers as it can happen in other accomodations. Also, I really liked the roof terrace. It was so comfy up there. It also had everything we needed, from hot water to a microwave to great wifi to city maps. The beds are comfy and equipped with curtains which is great. Overall we really liked the stay there :)

The only thing that bothered me is that people were smoking in the common area inside. So for non-smokers like me, it was quite unpleasant to stay there. One guy even smoked in the room. It seems like this does not get controlled a lot so I wish in the future you would controll it more to ensure a nice stay also for non-smokers.

It was ok. I am very satisfied about the accommodation. The room was clean and the staff at the front desk was very talkative and helpful that gave us a lot of info we need. The location was great, Wuhouci was just across the street, though it was about 8min walk to the underground. Outside the hostel was an amazing hotpot restaurant. I liked the atmosphere. Very good common area to meet people.

The pictures showed on the website weren’t matching to the rooms, check with them to confirm which kind of room you’re going to live in. The shower head was a bit too low, around 1.7m to the ground. That made me struggled a little bit. The laundry area is a outdoor space.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they really do their best to help you have a good experience. Some speak English too! We had very nice rooms on the third floor that they cleaned especially to make non-smoking (there is a rooftop garden which I presume smokers can use instead of smoking inside, because the air smelt much less smokey compared to other hostels I've been in). Large and comfortable, decent bathroom and utilities. Good access to subway (10min walk to Gaoshengqiao). Location convenient to two tourist spots and food options nearby, close to other hostels and also Tibetan area.

The only downsides were: 1. Thin hostel walls and so remained noisy all night with sounds of people using the bathroom, coughing next door, coming up the stairs etc. But this was easily mitigated with earplugs. There isn't any loud music or partying, just normal hostel noises. 2. The hostel regularly smells very strongly of cooking/ hotpot from the hotpot shop at the entrance. This isn't the worst, because as soon as our room door was closed, the smell was mostly blocked. Also, the smell is much preferable to the place stinking of cigarette smoke (which it didn't!). The smell might be more of a problem for dorm rooms or rooms facing the front of the hostel. It put me off hotpot for the entire trip though haha.

This was an excellent hostel, the staff were extremely accommodating. When we arrived they provided a map of the city and gave recommendations on what was good to see and where to eat. They offered to assist us with bookings of activities if we required. They assisted us with the washing machine and provided free detergent. The room was spacious and private, we were on the fourth floor near the common area, the feel was very homely. Overall this was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Chengdu.

Our room was in an excellent location as it was just off the common area, however at night it did get a bit loud, I would recommend requesting a room a little further from the area.

The hostel is just opposite to Wuhou temple and Jinli street and there are many good restaurants and shopping stores nearby. The room is clean and spacious, warm in winter. The staff are friendly and responsive.

Direction from metro station to hostel sent to guest via email should be updated to include Exit with accessible escalator which is helpful for guests with big luggage (Exit C is painful for guests with big luggage while Exit A, B nearby with accessible escalators)). Facilities in female shared toilet and bathroom are old, cannot adjust the temperature of water (super hot).

Excellent service, they truly went above and beyond for me with smile on their faces. I was looking for hiking options not too far from Chengdu and the manager helped me with everything. They were flexible to move the dates of my stay and helped me arrange bus tickets to my new location. Every guest is welcomed with a complimentary bottle of water. The rooms are clean and specious. Perfect location. I truly have nothing bad to say about this place, best one I’ve found ever for such cheap price!

All The staffs is very helpful especially the guy(I don't get to ask his name).he helped me with my handphone,laundry.i love the ambience,everything was clean from room to washroom.i really recommend this hostel to everyone.walking distance to park and night market.strategic place. I definitely will stay here again in the future.thank you so much to all the staffs who makes my stay memorable.highly recommended to everyone to stay here.

- Friendly staff that speaks english. - I got upgraded to a better room for free. - A towel was provided for free. - The location is good, some minutes walk to Jinli street and to the subway station. - There is a lot of local restaurants around the area, which is also convenient.

- The building and equipment is quite old but functional. - The yellow lighting is too dimmed so it feels dark even in daylight.

- comfy bed - friendly staff - common area I started my journey from Chengdu, where I should prepare for one month travel. At first everything was so difficult because it was totally different from my country. But the staff helped me really a lot. Literally it was a lot of help. Thankfully, I could prepare all the stuff to deeper china. Thank you Daxiong and other staffs !! I really appreciate your help :)

Hostel staff such as Lia, Panda & 小 徐 were very helpful in assisting our family to purchase the train tickets for our travels etc. Their dedication is much appreciated.

We did experienced a period of water disruption due to external incoming piping damaged. However, the hostel staff were trying their level best to shorten the effects. Our view is that there should be enough storage to cater for such disruption. Also, we wish to suggest that the shower water pressure be improve if possible.
