Everything! This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and modern. There were a few free gifts left for us in the room which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was excellent. I would come back to Chengdu just to stay in this hotel!

An absolutely amazing place, couldn’t be happier with this stay. The facilities were all new, meaning rooms were pristine and high tech. This ensured a really comfortable stay that was exactly like the pictures and descriptions. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and attentive. The location was in a lovely local bustling spot, but just off the main strip so still very peaceful and quiet. Just down the road were also plenty of good food spots, and a really popular bread/bakery place. What stood out most were the incredible staff, going above and beyond to ensure a great stay. To begin with, we were accommodated with an early check-in and upgraded to a larger room. When checking out, we were offered a complimentary late check-out if needed too. The staff also helped me book an appointment with a local Chengdu shop, calling them up and helping check the details for me. We were also given a lovely token of Chengdu upon leaving and guided to the taxi with umbrellas by the staff due to the rain. Felt like the perfect balance between an authentic local Chengdu experience and a comfortable travel spot.

Excellent location. Not only it's located 3 mins walk to wenshuyuan 文殊院。Opposite is 2 convenient stalls. Famous local pastry shops just across the street, tea houses left and right side and food surround the area. Importantly hotel is also away from all the buzz in a short alley, so you can really sleep well and immediately enjoy the area once you step out. I can enjoyed exploring the local neighborhoods nearby across the busy main road and at the same time enjoy tourist attractions and convenience. Staff are attentive and spoke good English. Would really go back and stay again if I am free.

The breakfast was plentiful but not my liking but Hotel staff was nice to greet at the breakfast table, which was a nice gesture. The train a bit walking distance like 10- 15 mins. But taxi is so affordable in China.

The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, including the unusual toilet that opens and flushes automatically. Hot water and water pressure are great. The beds are comfortable. AC works well, and you'll need it in the summer. The wifi is generally good, as good as anywhere in China. The breakfasts are really good. Depending on occupancy, they're either buffet or à la carte. It's quiet and in a historical area. There's a metro nearby.

It can be hard to find at night, so I suggest taking a taxi to the hotel. The streets, although safe, are dark, and it's hard to see the sign to the hotel.

Xishu is very near to ChunXi Road and many other places. I took Didi and it cost only 14 yuans. Just 20m away is the popular 宫廷糕点店. There is always a long queue. It is convenient to walk to and fro the metro station, 文殊站. The staff is very helpful. I would like to thank Sophie and Jane for their advice and suggestions during my stay from 11/3 to 18/3. If you plan to travel to Chengdu East station so that you could venture out to 黄龙，九寨沟 and 重庆, Didi ride is about 35 yuans for less than 30 mins.

The breakfast is non-buffet style. You could choose between oriental and western types. I feel that if there are more varieties, it will be better.

We had a fantastic experience at Xishu Garden Inn. The Inn's team is highly professional, friendly, and very helpful. They helped us book train, museum, and theater tickets, helped us with our Alipay, gave us detailed directions to wherever we were going, and even helped us with our Chinese. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were able to do our laundry and they offered us a variety of cleaning services. The breakfasts were excellent, varied, and healthy. We'd have given them a 20, if possible. We'll definitely return next time we're in Chengdu.

Very cozy, clean and conveniently located hotel. Great variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in meeting our tourist needs (bookings, tickets, apps etc.). Our living room was pleasantly equipped with an extra bath.

We visited the property in winter time, so sometimes it was a bit cold in the common areas adjacent to open air, but it appears to be a common practice for hotels and restaurants in China not to be heated in common areas in winter times. So, take it as granted.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. We are staying here for the second time. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are very comfortable, beautiful, and clean. Housekeeping is excellent. The breakfasts are good (especially for China). The inner courtyard is very cozy. The staff is always ready to help and solve any problem. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The value for money is absolutely justified — 100%. We dream of coming back to this hotel again and visiting this wonderful place. The location is perfect — the Old Town is nearby, the metro station is close, and there are plenty of delicious and affordable local restaurants around.

This was our first hotel during our trip to China, and it was a great start. The staff at the reception were very welcoming and spoke good English. We arrived early in the morning and were given a room before the official check-in time, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds and a fun smart toilet!. Breakfast was mostly Chinese, it was tasty. On our last day, they kindly allowed us a late check-out. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from Wenshu Temple, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and teahouses nearby. Highly recommended, especially for travelers who don’t speak Chinese.

Everything was fine overall. The only small downsides were the slightly low water pressure in the shower and the lack of a fridge in the room—but we didn’t really need one.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time and I stay in a lot of hotels around the world. The staff were welcoming and kind (with very good English) and so helpful with anything we needed. The provided a welcome fruit plate which was so unexpected, and always greeted us with smiles on their faces. The room was clean and modern and the air conditioning was cold. They made good restaurant recommendations and helped us book tickets for the Panda Research centre, while also providing valuable advice that we wouldn’t have known otherwise (the day we intended on going, it was a half price day so we ended up going the day after to avoid how busy it would be). I had asked about purchasing a tea container they had on display and when we returned later that night, they gifted it to me for my birthday. They also made me a special birthday breakfast the day of our check out. I don’t often return to cities I’ve seen, but I would definitely stay here again.
