An absolutely amazing place, couldn’t be happier with this stay. The facilities were all new, meaning rooms were pristine and high tech. This ensured a really comfortable stay that was exactly like the pictures and descriptions. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and attentive. The location was in a lovely local bustling spot, but just off the main strip so still very peaceful and quiet. Just down the road were also plenty of good food spots, and a really popular bread/bakery place. What stood out most were the incredible staff, going above and beyond to ensure a great stay. To begin with, we were accommodated with an early check-in and upgraded to a larger room. When checking out, we were offered a complimentary late check-out if needed too. The staff also helped me book an appointment with a local Chengdu shop, calling them up and helping check the details for me. We were also given a lovely token of Chengdu upon leaving and guided to the taxi with umbrellas by the staff due to the rain. Felt like the perfect balance between an authentic local Chengdu experience and a comfortable travel spot.

Xishu is very near to ChunXi Road and many other places. I took Didi and it cost only 14 yuans. Just 20m away is the popular 宫廷糕点店. There is always a long queue. It is convenient to walk to and fro the metro station, 文殊站. The staff is very helpful. I would like to thank Sophie and Jane for their advice and suggestions during my stay from 11/3 to 18/3. If you plan to travel to Chengdu East station so that you could venture out to 黄龙，九寨沟 and 重庆, Didi ride is about 35 yuans for less than 30 mins.

The breakfast is non-buffet style. You could choose between oriental and western types. I feel that if there are more varieties, it will be better.

We had a fantastic experience at Xishu Garden Inn. The Inn's team is highly professional, friendly, and very helpful. They helped us book train, museum, and theater tickets, helped us with our Alipay, gave us detailed directions to wherever we were going, and even helped us with our Chinese. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were able to do our laundry and they offered us a variety of cleaning services. The breakfasts were excellent, varied, and healthy. We'd have given them a 20, if possible. We'll definitely return next time we're in Chengdu.

Very cozy, clean and conveniently located hotel. Great variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in meeting our tourist needs (bookings, tickets, apps etc.). Our living room was pleasantly equipped with an extra bath.

We visited the property in winter time, so sometimes it was a bit cold in the common areas adjacent to open air, but it appears to be a common practice for hotels and restaurants in China not to be heated in common areas in winter times. So, take it as granted.

I had a magical stay in this little piece of heaven! Charming hotel with super lovely staff! They spoke fluent English and were always available to help. They helped with my visit around the city, planning things and more. It felt like home! The hotel has a small garden and a restaurant with delicious food. I had most of my meals there since I enjoyed the lovely staff, the atmosphere and the food. The hotel has a traditional fusion vibe, with modern facilities in the rooms. On top of these, the hotel is situated in a cute little traditional neighborhood with Wenshu monetary, one of the main attractions of the city just 7-10 min walk away. I will definitely go back!

We stayed three nights in this beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was right at the heart of the old town, close to the Wenshu monastery and the attractions nearby. You can't beat the location. You also can't beat the quality of the room and facilities. The beds were so comfy that the bathroom was first class with an amazing shower and a modern toilet. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is managed so well, and things run smoothly there. We were allowed to use the washing machine, which was most welcome. Most of the staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful with all the local information and advice. We learned about the didi cab hailing app from the reception staff, and that really helped us during our 3 week trip in China. We are really grateful to the staff for everything. The hotel restaurant was great and the breakfast spread was absolutely amazing.

We loved everything. We will book there again and even wish we could transport this lovely place to other places we travelled.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and can't recommend it enough! First off, the location was fantastic. It was conveniently situated close to several main attractions, making it easy to explore the area without much hassle. The staff were another highlight of our stay. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out to 小芳 and 姚子—thank you both for going the extra mile to make our stay so lovely! Our bedroom was spotless and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in top shape. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, with a nice buffet spread offering a variety of options to start the day off right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience!

I booked a bed in a shared room with 4 places. Bed with excellent privacy, 2 lockers per bed. Every morning they clean and tidy the room, change the towel. Hairdryer and bathroom products provided. Free do-it-yourself laundry, very useful. In short, a hostel solution with excellent hotel services. Rich breakfast, a few more pieces of cake and it would be perfect. All the staff are helpful and professional, thanks to Sophie I booked the train tickets for the Lesham Buddha, I received directions, maps and precious suggestions. At the reception everyone is good. Every now and then someone plays a guitar, pleasant. Too bad I was at the end of my trip, I had a flight booked, I would have stayed a few more days, because Chendgu deserves a good visit and Xishu Garden Inn is the place to stay

I suggest locking at least 1 locker. However I left money and a spare card at the management, it was sealed and well guarded

The happy mood of the staff was contagious. They were most friendly, courteous and helpful especially Sophie who spent a lot of time helping us with our bookings as well as the lovely ladies at the reception counter. There was a good selection of food items for breakfast and the staff even remembered our coffee preferences.

Food items at breakfast tended to be cold even at different hours in the morning. There was very little room to hang and unpack clothes for guests who were staying for a few days. The electronic toilet seat cover sensor and lighting tended to have a mind of its own and could be annoying sometimes.

We're so much happy that we choose this hotel during our stay in Chengdu! Amazing and kindest staff, spacious room, great breakfasts, and the location is awesome — across the street (towards the metro) there is a very authentic district with free entrance to a fabulous temple and lots of cafes, bakery, and restaurants. The location isn't properly showed on booking.com, and I had to check baidu maps to check the real location of the hotel, which really helped to not get lost.
