Visiting Chengdu is super easy now with the visa-free access. The hotel is just a quick subway ride from the airport, which is super convenient. There are some great museums and city attractions nearby, and most of them are also accessible by subway, making it all really easy to get around. The pandas at the Panda Base are so cute, though it can get pretty crowded. Just a heads-up, you’ll need to book your tickets in advance. The food in Chengdu is a bit on the spicy side, but it’s incredibly tasty and has a real local vibe. The hotel’s breakfast is pretty good too, with plenty of options. The concierge gave us great recommendations for things to do around the city, and even mentioned a few other spots nearby that are worth checking out. I’d definitely love to come back and explore even more next time!

The first room we were given smelled of cigarettes although we reserved a non-smoking room. Front staff was very helpful to change us to another room. Why is there an ashtray on the table while there's a sign that says no smoking in bed? People also smoke in the corridor.

The staff was profesional, effective and friendly. Everybody speaks English. Housekeeping services accurate. Rooms clean and comfy. Guest managament asistence in the lobby bar was appreciated (a coffee after closing hours). Special thanks for Mina and team for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the metro station, and the facilities are very good value for money. The service of the hotel staff is very good, very enthusiastic, and also upgraded me to a suite. Recommend to friends who are going to Chengdu.

Staff, breakfast excellent, location good. Arranging of tourist, sightseeing was excellent. Checking in and out and help with luggage was excellent.

Everything. - - The short female receptionist from Italy was so beautiful - - Had amazing attitude and was very professional - - Hotel itself was modern and well established. - - Room was massive for a solo traveller. - - Had everything I needed. - - The bathroom was phenomenal and perfect - - Bed was comfy and relaxing - - View was amazing. - - Wifi was strong and great - - Was provided a bar voucher at lobby - - Was Provided a 2nd voucher for 32nd floor bar - - Rooftop bar had some amazing views too - - Metro entrance within 50mt from hotel

No cups of tea at breakfast. Getting a lift was difficult at peak times.

I had an amazing stay at Dorsett. Very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and sweet. Special mention to Honor who helped me out with reccos and Alipay. Breakfast was plentiful and a large variety that included both chinese and other eating options. The location right next to Luomashi metro station is extremely convenient. I recommend it highly if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Chengdu!
