We had a 15hr layover and this was perfect! We messaged after our booking to let them know we would be arriving at 6am and requested an early check-in. They have a complimentary airport shuttle every 40mins to pick you up and drop you off. Our room was ready on arrival which was fantastic after a 12hr flight and their breakfast buffet was superb! Great value for money! Travel toothbrushes, phone charger annd ear plugs for light sleepers all in the room. We had a 3hr nap after breakfast and then ordered a DiDi into town to do some exploring. If you’re looking for an airport hotel for your layover, look no further!!!

No big deal, just be warned that the staff don’t speak English, google translate’s fantastic. Wifi’s a bit hit and miss, you’ll survive.

Excellent hotel and staff! The room was very comfortable and spacious, very clean, with wonderful beds and bedding. Slippers and robes were provided. The air conditioning worked well. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent! The hotel is right next to the airport, but the planes taking off and landing did not disturb our sleep when the windows and curtains were closed. The blackout curtains made the room dark and cozy for sleeping, and they also helped block sound. The only minor downside was that the bathroom walls were not as soundproof—but that was manageable. The staff were very attentive and caring, helping us with every question. We arrived quite late and the hotel restaurant was already closed. At reception, they offered late-night guests free hot food—several dishes to choose from—plus tea, coffee, and a soft drink. That was a very pleasant surprise. We also got a bit lost at the airport and couldn’t immediately find the hotel shuttle stop. We messaged the hotel and they quickly guided us to the right place, where the shuttle picked us up. Honestly, we were sorry to stay only one night. I would have loved to spend several days at such a hotel! A few small suggestions to improve the hotel further: first, please add a shoehorn in the rooms. Not everyone wears slippers or sandals, and a shoehorn makes it easier to put on shoes. Second, add some furniture on the balcony. A couple of simple wicker chairs and a small table would make it much more comfortable to sit outside, enjoy a coffee, and watch the airplanes take off. Their customer service was top notch and I had the most amazing stay. Their front desk staff were extremely helpful and made my stay seamless especially Liu Ying. She was exceptionally helpful and I almost didn’t notice the language barrier as she was quick to translate any conversation. One of the receptionists even offered me her lunch when I had to wait long for a takeout delivery they helped me order online. I’ll definitely stay here again once I’m in China. The facilities were excellent and the room was large. It was really helpful to also have a restaurant right in the hotel where you can grab lunch and dinner with free room service. They had 24 hours free shuttle bus to and fro the airport and breakfast was lovely. Bus to Canton fair was free as well. I definitely recommend this hotel to any visitor to China. Absolutely amazing!

No spa. I desperately needed a spa after the long walks from Canton fair. I wish the management would consider including a spa to the hotel

What a pleasant surprise in finding the Ausotel as we previously had another hotel booked for our return journey back to London. On our 1st journey that said hotel was a disappointment as they had photos which were not accurate and the beds were like a cement slab. The Ausotel was great. Lovely big room and quiet as we were knackered after flying from Sydney..Would definitely stay again. bed was lovely too.

Only downside was the b/fast. Was ok, nothing to rave about. Not really thinking about westerners might like for b/fast. Coffee machine was broken. you would think they would have a spare in one of the store rooms..certainly no plan b here. We asked the b/fast staff for a coffee sachet like they have in the rooms. But they just looked confused and were just like robots and could not think outside of the box..

Great place to book if you have a long transit time. We were able to check in early which was amazing. The shuttle bus was easy to organise - we ask the help desk staff to call the hotel for us. Spacious room with everything you need plus air con. Restaurant downstairs is also very good and decent prices.

Wifi didn't work but wasn't an issue for us as we were just sleeping/showering between flights

the hotel is exceeding my expectations. The superior room has a nice balcony and a great view, the room is large and fully equipped with all the necessary things. I had a flight at 6 am. So I left the hotel at 4 am, the hotel crew called me at 3.30h to wake up and at 4 o'clock they called again to tell me that the shuttle bus was ready. I asked about the possibility of waiting 5 minutes, they accepted any problem. When I did check out the breakfast box was awaiting me. That was fantastic. Thank you guys. The hotel was very clean and the shower gel and shampooing were great.

The room was very spacious. It was very clean and tidy. There were plenty of amenities and also conditioner for your hair to use. The toilet, shower and sink and separate. So you could use the sink/toilet while someone is taking a shower. We took the shuttle bus from the airport T2. It took a bit longer than going from the hotel to the airport. They used a different route, maybe because of the time. We weren't able to eat the breakfast buffet due to an early flight, though they did provide a takeaway breakfast. Make sure to request it if needed. On arrival during the evening they also provide a free dinner (fried noodles) which you can take to your room and eat.

The only downside is that the light switches fo the bedroom area are further in the room. The moment you walk in, the light switches are only for the hall and bathroom area. But this is really just nitpicking. It was a very good stay and place. More hotels should be this clean and comfortable.

This is a somewhat older hotel that still gives good value for money. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Nice staff who did their best to overcome their limited language skills. Shuttle was punctual, fast and easy to arrange (just go to the information desk in the arrivals hall).

The rooms can do with some deep maintenance. It is quite surprising that staff in a hotel that advertises as an airport hotel for a large international airport only has very limited skills in any other language than the local.

Great value for money. Hotel room is clean and spacious, shower had good pressure. Breakfast was excellent! So many varieties and good flavours.

The balcony door was open when I entered the room. it was quite dark outside and balcony wasnt in a maintained condition. Shuttle bus driver could be more communicative as passengers are confused about which terminal to go for their flights.

The hotel is located near terminal 2 which is very convenient after a long flight with kids. Pick-up can be arranged from the information counter after leaving immigration and custom. The hotel restaurant is good and well priced. Staff was very helpful and they organised takeaway breakfast for my family as we needed to be in the airport before restaurant opened for breakfast.
