Excellent hostel - we had a private room for 4 nights with shower, very clean and comfy. The hostel is located a few minutes walk from North train station and about 15 mins by taxi from the city centre and tourist attractions for about 20 RMB on Didi. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. There is a washing machine on-site with space to dry for only 5 yuan. The hostel is run by Fiona who is a wee legend - very helpful for everything including booking excursions and providing an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended for a stay in Guilin.

Very good location. Close to shops, Guilin North railway station and bus stop (Bus no. 18 takes you to downtown at a cost of 2 yuan only). Staff are super helpful. You can ask them anything (They helped us to book a karaoke room). The hostel has a piano, a guitar and a ukelele, if you need to practise.

The hostel has a washing machine (only costs 5 yuan to use) but no dryer. Undercover clothes lines are there to be used free of charge so it cost us nothing to dry our clothes but it may not work out if you are in a rush.

Location is 7 min by feet from North railway station. Personal speaks very good English and friendly. Room is very clean and not small, air-conditioner works good. Cost is not expensive.

It's very difficult to find this hotel. Google maps is useless. You have to call them in Chinese phone number or communicate in wechat (ask about it previously). There is not elevator there (of course it's not real problem for this cost).

If you're coming to Guilin north station it is very convenient location, especially if you want to continue to Yangshuo. People there were really friendly and lady at the reception gave me many good recommendations what to visit, where to eat etc. The overall atmosphere in the common area with piano was nice. It is very suitable place for backpackers. I tried different hotel near by and after that I value this acommodation even more.

At night the street was very noisy, people shouting, so don't forget to bring earplugs. Also, the hostel is not easy to find, the sign is not visible from the main street.

I needed a nice room to crash between trains at Guilin north station, I was tired and frustrated and Fiona and her husband were so kind to me! The room was nice and they gave me all the time I needed, invited me to have dinner with them + they have a breakfast offer if you want in the morning, it really was a very pleasant stay 🤗 They even bargained at the nail salon for me aha!! They have 3 very cute cats which give this hostel a very homey vibe Laundry machine available on the rooftop for 5 CNY

Ideal spot for travelers and backpackers to experience local life with extremely kind and welcoming hosts. This guesthouse is ran by a family, you can feel the positive atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I totally recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Murphys. The hotel is not that central located, but there is no problem to commute to the sightseeing spots in Guilin. Especially the staff is awesome. You get a warm welcome, good travel advises and the English is super (noooot always the case in China). Would stay here again, if I end up in Guilin.

No elevator and a bit far from city center, but nothing that a bus ride can't fix. But it's very close to north railway station!

The receptionist was very nice! Generally a very friendly atmosphere. The location is close to the East railway station (high speed train, around 6min to walk) The city centre of Guilin is farther away, but easily to reach with the bus (35min ride but busses go very frequently).

Great location, just 5-10min walk from Guilin Nth railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner is very helpful with check in and tips for sites around Guilin Nth or getting into the centre of town.
