My stay at the hotel was truly excellent. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is outstanding—just a few meters from metro stations, yet still within walking distance of the city’s main attractions.Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of both Western and Eastern dishes. The rooms are beautifully designed and incredibly cozy, with very comfortable beds. I also appreciated the hotel gym, which is well equipped—something that’s not always guaranteed in hotels in China. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

One minor inconvenience was the automatic toilet. It frequently opened unnecessarily—such as when I was simply walking past or washing my hands—and occasionally failed to respond when actually needed. The constant beeping was also a bit disruptive, as it sounded similar to the noise of someone opening the main door, which caused some confusion. Another issue that affected my stay and especially my sleep was the noise from neighboring guests. I'm not sure whether the walls are particularly thin or if the guests were just unusually loud, but it did disturb the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel location is strategic and not far from Ping Jiang road, easy to access with didi and walking distance to the Suzhou Golden Tower North Mall building. Room is clean and no smoking smell at all Easy to find restaurant nearby also (local food, convenience store & KFC opposite), staff is very helpful and fast check in process (can use Visa & Mastercard here) Upon our check out, we met a front line staff, Tony who is very helpful by loading our baggage’s to the van under hot sun, thumbs up for the team 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Highly recommended to any travellers comes in couple or family to check in this hotel when visiting to Suzhou⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our rooms are very large and clean. Beds are big and comfortable. The design of the room is very modern and pleasing to the eyes. The bathroom is large with smart toilet system. Location is good. Easy to find. It’s in the heart of Suzhou city with attractions nearby. Breakfast buffet is good with variety. Hotel cleaners are friendly and would greet you in the morning. Hotel receptionists are very warm and kind. Fantastic service. I ordered something online but the seller delivered the parcel to the main Marriot hotel in Suzhou instead of AC hotel. The receptionist kindly helped me to make calls to the other hotel to locate the parcel and arranged for another delivery even though it was midnight. There was no hesitation to help and no extra cost! Very thankful about this. It was a joyous stay. 5 stars.

Our stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott Suzhou was an enjoyable experience. The nearest Metro station (Chayuanchang) is about 5 minutes away on foot. Several good shops and restaurants are close to the hotel, and the area is quite pleasant. The hotel is near Suzhou Railway Station, where we travelled from Nanjing South Station. The room was clean, bright, and a good size. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The breakfast is very good. I would consider staying here again.

I have no complaints about my stay here. As mentioned above, I enjoyed my stay. I cannot make any comments about things I did not like.

The hotel is small but trendy, with good customer service from the staff, especially Mr. Liu. The toilet comes with a bidet, and the housekeeper does daily cleaning, replenishing toiletries, coffee packets and teabags. Good location, easy to travel around.

The system shut down the room 15 minutes before check-out time, and we were unable to return to the room. We had to get the housekeeper to open the door. We are very disappointed. Hope they improve on this issue.

Excellent breakfast, including western and Chinese style. Food items are fresh with good quality. This is a newly built hotel, around 3 years old. Although the room is not very large, the smart design makes us feel spacious enough. Staffs are professional and courteous.

The room temperature controlled by the AC system worked great. But the comforter is too thick. A lighter set of bedding would be better.

Giving a high resting because of the hotel policy, which let us check in as early as 10a.m. which healy elevates the error experience of our stay in Suzhou.

Not the most welcoming bunch of receptionist, they even misspelt my name, given that I have handed over my passport for their reference, and I do speak fluent Chinese, which they could have asked if they can't read the information on the passport. It's not the cleanest hotel, but I would give it a pass.

AC Marriott Suzhou is in a good location with walking distance to Guan Qian Jie. The room we stayed in was always kept very clean. Facilities are well maintained and the cleaning staff were very helpful. We would like to thank Tony and Shawn for their help during our stay. They went the extra miles to offer their help when we needed it. if we were to come back to Suzhou again, AC Marriott Suzhou will be our first choice.

Hotel is located in the best part of Suzhou, very close to 2 metro stations Personnel was extremely kind and welcoming in all areas of the hotel Excellent breakfast served in a very nice modern space We had drinks at night which were professionally served to our full enjoyment The hotel is very new and rooms well appointed

Employees at reception did not know about the location of main attractions in the city Some induction needed in that respect

Shawn Liu at the reception was excellent. He was helpful, informative, patient and kind. He went the extra mile by carrying our luggages down the steps whilst we wait for our taxi.

Area for improvement: to allow taxis to stop at main entrance of hotel. Picking n alighting passengers in the middle of the road is extremely unsafe n stressful.
