We were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade for our room and it came with a balcony. Property is near to old town Lijiang. There are lots of eateries around. Owner is very helpful. He helped us to arrange transportation to the jade dragon snow mountain as well as the tiger leaping gorge tourist area. It is walkable to the old town. There is also a washing machine we could use, however there is no dryer.

The water from the shower area flows outside. Toilet is a little cramp. The steps from the road to the property is very steep and care must be taken to climb it. There is also an elevated cobbled road from the steps to the property. The property is at the bottom of a steep hill to the old town.

Very clean, beautiful room, quiet, good location , near the modern shops and a little climbing to go in the center of the old town. Staff so helpful for booking tours, taxis and everything you can ask.

Located within walking distance to Lijiang Old Town. Have to climb steep steps to the hotel. Luckily the hotel is about 50 metres from the bottom of the steps and next to the main road. Mr Yang Lei is a great host. A helpful person who speak good English. He came looking for us and carried our luggage up to the hotel. He helped us to plan and organise our day trip to JDSM and TLG. He arranged for breakfast-to-go during our trip to TLG. He even lent us his spare handphone with the wechat app for us to communicate with our driver when we visited JDSM. Would definitely stay in Lijiang Yue Tu Inn again. Thank you Mr Yang Lei.

Fixing a bidet in the toilet will be great.

The location is excellent. It is located in front of the old town where you can walk around. There is two or three restaurants near by the hotel. If you want to go to the Jade dragon snow mountain, this is the best location where the tour can pick up. The staff is the best. He can communicate in english very well. The staff is really help in everything. I come to the hotel in the late night and ask for the car to pick up. He arrange the car to pick up at the station and always on the chat to help. All in all, everything is excellent.

My room situated on the second floor can see the Jade Dragon mountain in glory! Room was spacious, clean and had a bath tub. Bed and pillows were soft, and comfortable. There are free Fresh Floral Pastries (鲜花饼) in the lobby for you to enjoy. Hotel is very near an excellent pork rib restaurant (阿婆腊排骨火锅). You must go and try!

Absence of tea/coffee in the room. Humidifier doesn't work (leaks water). WiFi doesn't work in communal areas. Breakfast is very simple. Hotel is situated up on a hill. Be prepared to climb about 40m where the taxi drops you off. But the hotel staff was helpful to carry your luggage, if you contact him when you arrive.

We especially appreciated the warm hospitality offered by hotel owner and his family and staff. He is the only tourism professional we met so far who speaks English fluently and willingly helped us for every practical need. Our room was very nice and bright, tastefully decorated. We actually got a free upgrade upon arrival. Rooms are situated around a nice and quite courtyard with a lot of beautiful flowers. A washing-machine was at our disposal free of charge. A delicious traditional breakfast was served daily. Hotel location is just great, at the edge of the old town. We were able to go everywhere by foot.

The environment is super duper best. Really enjoyed stayed here with good hospitality provided by all staff. The best things is that they can understand English and this make everything just a finger tips. The counter also can arranged for a sight seeing and tourist guide. Location of accommodation also very strategic with public transport. The touch of building and an architecture is amazing.

I stayed there 5 nights and it was beautiful. The location was perfect, not far from the center of old town and just near the road where you can take taxi or bus to railway station or bus station. The hosts were very friendly, always offered us tea, fruits and local flower cakes for free. They even made a laundry and gave a transfer to airport for free. They helped us to navigate in the city and also to book some trips.

Although the property is not accessible by car, it is only a few minutes walk from the road to the alley. The entrance to Lijiang Old Town is within walking distance with many restaurants along the way. Otherwise it is possible to walk up the hill to Shizishan view point and down to Square Market. Yue Tu Inn is run by a family that is very friendly and helpful. On a clear day, the Jade Dragon Snow mountain could be seen from the bedroom.

I am truly impressed by the welcome given by the owner. He even gave a city map with places to visit and locations nearby for sightseeing. There was free tea and fruits as well as complimentary breakfast with vegetarian options which was super impressive. The location is very close to Ancient City Market. I would definitely recommend the place.
