1. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from South Qilianshan Road station (Line 13). 2. There's a convenient store (Family Mart) within a 7-minute walk, as well as Japanese restaurants and a supermarket on the underground floor (盒马鲜生 - Freshhippo) where you can grab souvenirs and snacks. 3. The hotel offers a fresh and varied breakfast selection, making it a great way to start your day. 4. The room was equipped with plenty of plugs and adapters for charging, a spacious desk for work, and an iron and ironing board, making it ideal for a business trip.

1. The Wi-Fi connection in my room was occasionally unreliable. 2. The air conditioning didn't provide very cold air (I've been told this is typical in this area), but the hotel thoughtfully provides an electric fan for added comfort!

Apart from the cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance, the amenities make this property stand out from many others. A very good breakfast is included in the stay, and the laundry facilities are a great plus. The location is excellent for first time travellers to China from North America who need some familiarity as an easy introduction to China, and who want to be around more regular people stores and restaurants, as opposed to a glass box downtown where if you need to buy a pair of socks your only options are Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari, etc. Lives up to the Holiday Inn brand in that it provides a similar experience to what you would expect in a Holiday Inn in Toronto Ontario or Dallas Texas. For Shanghai, this is an amazing achievement.

While we understand that security is paramount in China (and we like that), an easily accessible stairwell would allow for an alternative to the elevators which can get quite crowded when there are large groups checking in. But this is a small issue overall.

The staff is very professional and especially kind. I would like to mention the 3 staff members: Ma Li and Chen (I hope I mentioned their names correctly) who were very nice and helped us a lot. It should be noted the large and spacious room we received, the dining room is wonderful and full of everything good, the free laundry in the hotel is on the second floor where there is a modest gym. It should be noted that a few meters from the hotel there is a metro station with which you can get anywhere in Shanghai. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend the hotel.

Location is a 30min metro ride from city center. Room is big and clean. Have all you need for pleasent stay. Water in bottle is renewed every day, which is exelent on hot days. Hotel is on the opposite side of town from the airport Pudong, but there is a metro line with one change. This is not a big deal, anyway Shanghai is huge. For my opinion room A/C fan is to strong. But this is not significant

The room, the service and the receptionist also very nice and helpful. We are reach early and plan to drop our luggage only. But they help us check for available room and let us check in early. This mean so much for us after a overnight, long and exhausted flight. Totally feel the lovely and superb service.

The location and abit far from those famous travel sight seeing spots. Everyday travel out and back hotel will take sometimes. Beside from that, will give all full mark for it

I am a world traveler. This hotel made me feel at home. I had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was cozy, and the AC worked perfectly, ensuring a cool and pleasant environment even during Shanghai's severe heat wave, which might have recorded its hottest temperature ever. The restaurant downstairs offered a wide variety of breakfast options, including the standard Holiday Inn standards and many extra Chinese breakfast choices. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The receptionists were thorough and efficient during check-in. Special thanks to the manager, Mr. Song, who was exceptionally hardworking and present throughout the hotel, from the front desk to the restaurant. He was also very helpful with a personal issue I had. This hotel truly made me feel at home.

The hotel is quite good, having good-sized rooms, comfortable beds, and clean washrooms. Breakfast options were also good, though the options for a vegetarian person like me were very limited. The location is very convenient, a lot of restaurants, shops, malls, and Metro station are very near. They have a free bus service in the morning hours to take people to some business places and to another metro station for more options of trains.

The gym was just for the sake of it, just one treadmill, one cycle, and one multi. Such a big hotel should be having a proper Gym for weight training facilities. Also, there is no restaurant in the hotel so after breakfast, if something to eat is needed during the day, it has to be ordered from outside.

Breakfast was very good. Line 13 of metro was exactly beside the hotel going to any where including airport and train station was easy and cheap. Only it was a little far from tourist attractions about one hour.

We arrived early morning 6am, they had ready our room and we had privileged of early check in. The staff are very helpful. But I think they need to really improve their English at least the basic skills. The hotel very near to Metro Station (South Qilianshan Station). They are Paris Baguette and Starbucks just down the hotel building. Very convenient

Everything was as described. The room has a good size and was very clean. The stuff were very helpful and always ready to help whenever i needed help. The breakfast was very good and with good options for westerners. The location is amazing, there is a Metro Station very close to the hotel which make you easily go to anywhere.
