I specifically selected this hotel not only because it felt price wise to me, but also because it was conveniently located near Huangpu river which makes it a suitable starting point to ride by bicycle at night. Instead of going to the bund, which is generally too crowded, to check out the amazing view of Shanghai city, the same can be done through what i proposed which I personally prefer. Additionally, the facilities available in this hotel, especially the lounge area located on 26th floor boasts of an amazing view of shanghai city both during the day and night time. I am definitely looking forward to come again in the near future!

The hotel had almost everything that i could think of except massage treatments, but you can easily find massage parlors in the vicinity. One issue that i found inappropriate for a five star hotel was the fact that the shower area within the man locker room on the same floor as the swimming pool, had a rather fishy smell which brought me to the conclusion that barely any cleaning is made on a daily basis. Furthermore, i found it rather hard to control the temperature as there was barely cold water.

This was truly an exceptional stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views. Mornings were a real treat thanks to the delicious and well-prepared breakfasts. The hotel’s location was ideal — quiet, yet conveniently close to all main attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel offers excellent value for money. My room was spacious, providing a comfortable base for my stay. What truly stood out, though, was the Executive Lounge—spending time there treats you to great views of the Yangtze River and Shanghai skyscrapers. Even though I only stayed for one evening, the experience was relaxing and delightful.

It a bit far from city center, but the taxi is very convenient and inexpensive in Shanghai.

The hotel is very nice! You enter and in front of you is an incredibly wide, spacious and beautiful lobby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is wide with a comfortable, large bed. The bathroom is also very large and the toilet is elegant. The breakfast is very rich, there is everything, even things to eat that you don't think of. It is worth the price - quality!

Had a really lovely stay at the Intercontinental, great hotel and very comfortable rooms. Our stay was spoiled a little as we had planned to spend my entire birthday in the spa and the Intercontinental club but we had to make other arrangements as both were closed despite being advertised as open.

Far from Pudong airport & other locations. HAd to take DIDI (grab) & it's quite expensive. On Booking .Com it says free airport shuttle but hotel never provide one but instead wants to charge. False advertisement on Booking.Com page. Very dissapointed after booking.
